At that water level, did you get the interior wet?
I think this jeep was seriously low on oil because that was the noisiest renegade i have ever heard. Was it the diesel engine? Those aren't supposed to be that loud either. I really hope this guy didn't destroy his engine.

you got the wrong tires, you need some big ko2
He had problems with the loose rock. All he needed to do is air down to about 30 psi so his tires could grab the rock better instead of slipping. Looks like he had all terrain tires which are normally fine for that. I like the ko2 but last time I checked I couldn't find them in the right tire size for my trailhawk and I didn't want to spend the money on modifying the suspension and body.

You're kidding, right? For not much money at all, you can hit a 35-degree break-over angle with a 3.5-inch lift and a cheap tire change.
Just bought my first Renegade, it had to be a Trailhawk, eager to find some mud paths around
I recommend changing your tires the first chance you get. I have the Cooper Discover AT3 on my TH. These are excellent all terrain tires and are only slightly noisier than highway tires. Better yet you can get them in your tire size so you don't have to make any modifications to your TH to get them to fit. They have been great in snow, mud, sand and offroading all over the west from Oregon to Utah and everywhere in between. They are expensive but with this tire you get what you pay for.
