Degrowth Implementation in Fashion Brands . Changing the Mindset.
Degrowth is defined as reducing production and consumption for the sake of increasing sustainability. However, there are few works empirically exploring degrowth implementation on a business level. There are even less empirical findings on degrowth fashion implementation. Aerielle Rojas fills the gap, presenting a study empirically based, A multi-case study was performed and Aerille explains how fashion brands implement degrowth through three aims: their definition of degrowth, what values they have, or think are needed for degrowth, and the specific degrowth activities they implement.
This study is also part of the Book of Proceedings of GFC2023 - Fashion for the Common Good.
