You can yes, be mindful of restrictions on LinkedIn (check the amount of daily messages you can send). I know people who sell it as a service so it works, I personally think it isn’t super leveraged since there are a ton of restrictions and it’s challenging to do high volume. But it certainly works

What service did you sell your clients? Did u sell cold email lead generation, paid ads, or social media management?

For the lead generation agency biz model, you'd sell them cold emails to generate leads, and you're setting up the cold email infrastructure, crafting their offer, scraping leads, putting together cold email campaign similar to the steps outlined in steps 1-6 - except, it would be with your client's information and for their business

It should be included as part of the setup fee that you charge. If you charge $2000 your month to month cost for the client should be $250-$500 so that should leave you 70-80% profit margins

I haven’t used Mailscale, but have used competing products. They work in the short term but almost always have poor deliverability over a longer period of time.

Yeah i’d recommend sticking to what’s proven to work. Even if it’s a bit pricier in the short term, the opportunity cost of trying other things that are unproven is way more significant and can push back your timelines to actually make money.

I know what you mean. What I realized after talking with hundreds of business owners, is most of them want a specific result and they don’t care that much about the specific way the result is achieved

So businesses owners aren’t paying $3000 because they love “cold emails”, what they are paying for is more clients, more $$ and making a ROI on their investment

And if you are able to prove that, business owners will buy

It sounds like you’re having deliverability issues. Make sure your domains have the right records setup, you’ve warmed them, and you spintax’d and spam checked your messages

Yeah I know how you feel. Personally i would not suggest starting a business. I would try to find online jobs, save some money that you can use to invest into the business. Ofcourse there is always the element of risk as well - but figure out a way to save/make a few hundred $$ would be my suggestion

I typically go for “one call closes”, meaning the first time I chat with them on a zoom I try to close the deal right there because I want to keep my sales process as simple as possible. Haven’t ever done 2 call closes although there are people I know who does that and see great success.

You’re guess is right and thats whats referred to as a “2 call close”. Your first 10 minute call is a discovery call where you’re meeting them for the first time and ask some questions to understand their current situation and needs. Your second call is where you pitch your service and go over pricing. I prefer to just combine both these calls together and do it in one go since my calendar is usually packed

Super dependent on your niche and the outcome you want to sell in your offer. Whether you are selling leads/sales calls, # of clients or adding $$ to sales pipeline as the outcome. That said, I landed my first client in the recruitment niche for 3k+250/call with the result of 5-20 calls every month.

The reason why im working with them is because it's really hard for them to get clients because there is much competition in the industry and seo is a really commercialized offer and i have developed a strategy with cold email that beats these challenges. it's just really hard to get keep my client acquisition going since there ain't many companies to sell to. Do you have any suggestions on the niches or countries i should expand to?

yeah i think a really great benefit is VA's can run this system once the infrastructure is built out.

Software licensing + infrastructure management that is sold by an AE where leads are generated from SDR’s. When I was at IBM these deals were sold as annual contracted value and if companies “defaulted” it would be removed from the salesperson’s quota. So most definitely counted from sales
