Video I shot on my cell phone of the tornado that rampaged through Little Rock Air Force base. This video is from base housing looking southwest
Chinchilla's Adventure Around the House

Bradley the Chinchilla, at 3 weeks, roams free around the house.
Sure I wasn't there when it happened but I live on base now and tbh I have PTSD from how often we get tornados and I don't know what it feels like to be in one but I bet it would take Alot of therapy to get that out of your mind
This was a horrible thing. I was only 9 when this hit, and I remember cleaning the area around the base elementary school (think it was called Arnold drive or something of that nature) with my friend's cub scout troop. My teacher told me that many people in neighboring Vilonia were killed, and even more elsewhere in the state. There were houses on one part of the base that looked as if they had been crushed from the side by a giant, so brutal.
Pretty sure this is it. The only tornado over ever experienced/seen with my own eyes. I was only 5 years old when this happened.
"Take shelter immediately." Continues to stand videoing the funnel cloud. Brilliant 🙄
Best video everrr
I remember that day....
I lived on this base when this happened..it was bad but I'm happy it didn't come back any further. My dad was deployed when this happened too
I was on duty when this happened. Turned into a very long shift!
I was at work when this happened, fire department. The tornado hit the front/side of our building and I just remember how terrified I was! Crazy night!
Yes, the safest place to seek shelter is outside with your camera.
I was out in Blackfish Township (near West Memphis) when this hit!!!
Tornadoes hate the Air Force.
I remember this storm. It was brutal. This storm was so big that it literally covered almost the entire state. In school, I remember looking outside before we were about to leave and it was dark. It was like 2 PM and it looked like it was 9 PM. When I got home, the power cut off for the rest of the day and then there was no school the next day. I was eight. I'm fifteen now.
Apachified yes it was a violent storm. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
I remember waking up after a long day at school my parents went out to eat I took a nap that day and I woken up to Tornado sirens going off I lived in base meadows at the time I was evening heard sirens I we let our dogs in the house and we took shelter in the closet then then went picked up and it was intense when I looked out the winda the tornado was I think rain wrapped or it was RFD and the moment the tornado hit the base and the high school we lost power I still remember in now 25
Ah, I remember this, my mom, me, and my sisters took a walk the next day. We walked next to the school and saw a fallen wire pole thing, scary time, the power went out in my house and I ran into a chair and hurt my eye cuz I couldn't see
I was on base when this hit us. it destroyed all of the houses next to Mississippi loop but luckily we weren't harmed that much
I was stuck in a car in Jacksonville across the street from the AFB.
I was in the tornado. I stayed right by LRAFB MY HOUSE IS PRETTY MUCH DAMAGED AND TREES ARE STILL DOWN
Wonder*
101 Nevada ave. I wounded if the house is still there? :P
Robert Mahoney we lived on Georgia Avenue when the happened. We were at home!
@Janaya Turner the tornado didn't form over LRAFB it formed over Jacksonville and dissipated in Villon.
this happened two days ago after I moved off base
i was in jacksonville the day that happend
Dude, I was IN JACKSONVILLE THE DAY THIS HAPPENED. NOT THE LRAFB. THE TORNADO FORMED IN THE LRAFB AND STAYED THERE. IT NEVER WENT PAST THE LRAFB. And I lived there for 11 years. I was never in a tornado the whole time lived there. Just a bunch of warnings.
Had to make a run to the BX there about two weeks later the front glass where the car went through was repaired but surveying the area looked like an angry giant went through and bowled everything in a one mile radius over
my high school auditorium was destroyed by it
This literally happened a day before I got there. The first thing I was told to do was clean up debris that came off the fire department. That took for ever...
GET INSIDE!!!
i find this very hard to watch as i grew up on this base. i hope everyone is ok now and things are getting better than they had been last year.
@lordhelmit3 >.< LRAFB is in jacksonville....
AWWWWWW~ Fave part is when he tries to run up the wall
