Those little white plastic collars--where did you get them----possibly Home Depot?
Ali Express
I have one of these in my basement, it looks like an older model though. Can you elaborate on how the blowers work? Do they come on automatically when the stove heats up?
Stay away from all Ryobi products folks! Jet bench grinders are far superior
Thanks for the info. The previous owner of my house installed one of these. I want to see about trying some wood and maybe some coal this winter. The cost of oil is crazy
Has anyone changed the transaxle oil yet on a Scag Liberty Z? How did you get the vent valve cap off and on since there is no room above it due to the frame being right on top of it? I haven't tried yet, but the space is so small and surrounded by metal framing I cannot get my hand in there. I could pry it off ok, but cleaning the outside and inside and putting it back on cannot be done easily. It certainly cannot be done how Tuff Torq recommends which is to use their vent value tool and a rubber hammer to tap it back on. This is a residential mower and should be easily serviceable. Seems like a really poor design. Appreciate any comments from those who have changed the TZ450 oil on a Scag Liberty Z. @rhyan4321able, I assume you've had to change yours by now. Appreciate if you would share your experience.
I will be changing mine, I'm at 49.3 hrs. The guy at Scag said 50 hours, the book,,, reads 100 hours??
My Liberty Z manual says the initial transaxle oil change is at 50h for the Tuff Torq TZ450 and then every 250h or annually after that. The oil change procedures directly from Tuff Torq say the same thing for the initial oil change at 50h. Can you take a look at your mower and see if the TZ450 vent valve is also difficult to get to with the metal framing right on top of it and no good way to access it? The dipstick hole can be accessed ok, it is the vent valve cap that is going to be hard to deal with on mine. Curious if others with a Liberty Z and the Tuff Torq TZ450 have the same issue with framing right on top of that cap. Curious how others dealt with that issue or if it wasn't much of an issue after all. On mine it will be hard to ensure everything is clean around the opening and depending on how much force is needed to push the cap back on it could be an issue with a lack of leverage.
Harga brpa
All together,, around 350.00

Fixing that little craftsman shld be a GOOD VIDEO to watch..👌💪💯!!
Nice collection
Do you have a parts list of what you added (specifically the speed controller)?
For the money they ask for it , it shouldn't need any upgrade lol
No se puede creer que muestre asi el reloj .. pone una camara fija papi!......😮
Is there a reason the new ones can only burn coal? Other than the epa
I've been eyeing these swiss movement Invictas, I've been rocking the pro diver with the nh35. They looks very well worth it
Why 30amp? I use the 50amp.
Quick question, what size cermic bezel did you buy for your Orient?
I just bought a 48in with the same motor based party on your review. I had some concern with tuff torq as well, but see that even the 61in comes with either the hydro gear 3100 or tuff torq 450. Must be strong if comparable to 3100. I can’t find oil filters for less than about $13. Mowed my acre twice so far and very happy with the cut and fuel efficiency. Mowed in less than half the time of my old garden tractor. Very happy so far. Thanks for your review.
Thank you it did
Nice review. Would’ve loved a wrist shot…
Lovely pocket watches!
hi. r u still using it without any damage or frame bent?
I was just told by Kawasaki USA, whom their dealership that I bought a KRX Terex from, told me I had to have the machine's first service performed by them to keep the warranty valid, was not only false, but that the only way ANY manufacturer can use warranty to make you have them service your machine, would mean THEY would have to provide that service, including fluids/filters/labor, for free. If the dealership doesn't provide the service free, it's against the law to hang that over your head. ON ANYTHING. Use whatever properly matched oil/filter you want, and do it yourself...your warranty cannot be voided as a result, unless it can be proven what you used caused a failure.
I bought a Scag 48' Liberty Z Residental with 375 hours on 3 years Now I rather has a Commerical Mind is 2022 And I want to sell my for $3500
Had mine for two years now. I wear it on a tropic strap and never take it off. It definitely feels special. Great video….
This is a good quality watch. The movement alone cost around $180.
Hello Mr. Skidmore. Im also considering buying the orient star sports diver in green as ive fallen in love with the color scheme. I wanted to ask were you purchased your ceramic bezel insert? I would like to replace the aluminum one that comes with it.
Good question on where to find it incase someone needs a replacement. Anyways, i own the all blue version. I had to realign the bezel insert. I had left the watch face down in glue gone for 8 hours. The bezel insert loosened up really well. The glue from factory had all melted away. I than cleaned everything an placed the insert correctly all lined up. This is a gem of a japanese time piece. I wear mine everyday. I just ordered two more nato straps for it. Blue an white. I wear a mustard yellow nato on it. I origianlly changed the original bracelet to another ebay bracelet i had purchased. Loved the bracelet on it. Its a engineer bracelet . But sometimes i want to wear a nato. You will be very happy with this orient. Its a very high quality watch. An the movement is very nicely decorated. I had seen it. Alot do not know about the movement inside.
These came from a local watch maker that closed up a few years ago . I had the opportunity to go in and purchase some old stock that he had. But I have not seen this Bezel in green. I'm still looking for them in the right shade of green and of good quality as these. Tim S.
Thanks for the information
The next day, I replaced the foot pedal with a Wall mounted speed control.
Can you put a list of the part s you added like the head stock piece
@@pantellissantorinios7378I will do you one better. I'm going to do a follow up video tonight to show the part's.
@@pantellissantorinios7378 Where did you purchase your wall mounted speed control unit?
Very well articulated these are my sentiments entirely regarding INVICTA watches.
On the rear end it's self has a sticker on my 48 as a tuff torq gears on the rear end. Now I know what filters to buy
I have the 2023 LZ 48 and I need to know what filters to buy for hydraulic system
Hey, listen quick question… I have the same blue version as you in this video. Amazing watch. But mine does NOT have AIR DIVER on the back case. It just says divers 200 meters. Does your watch say “AIR DIVER” on the back?. Ive owned the pepsi version before an it had the air diver title on the case back. This is just weird.
Mine doesn't have that on it.
@@rhyan4321able ok, than the blue version does not have air diver on caseback. Everything is normal than. Thank you for checking.. i wear this watch every single day. I was a little worried.
@@rhyan4321able I got a incredible deal on my star diver. Only payed 296 dollars . An it was un used brand new. Wait until this orient becomes vintage. The beauty will really show than. It is going to be a very collectible japanese watch.
Good review and I like the Scag. I have heard "covid caused us to go to this and that......engines...gear boxes...etc"... COVID happened almost 5 years ago! I priced a Scag today (6-20-24) and heard "Covid caused this bs.....".... it's covid this , covid that. All it is with the engines and such is Kawasaki has had a MASSIVE recall on engines causing FIRES. I OWN a Kawasaki 730 on a Husqvarna PZT-54 zero turn and it's GREAT. The issues with the engines is the corners are being cut in the engines and transaxles!! BEWARE! Scag is a great brand but beware folks.
I didn't want the Kawasaki engine just because there 4 wheelers aren't that great.😅
Dude, 7 bucks and change is cheap for oil filters!! I am now paying 14.99 + tax for Kawasaki filters....OUTCH.
I own the same color. I call this the orient star diver smurf. This watch never leaves my wrist. I absolutely love an adore this watch. Only watch i ever want an need. Now, mine came with misalignment on the bezel insert. All i did was, lay the watch in goo gone for 7 or 8 hours. The bezel insert came right off with some water an soap. I used jb weld expoxy to re apply the bezel correctly an perfect. Waited a full 40 hours before the watch went any where near water. I shower with my watch on, so its good to go now. This watch is so well built, so beautiful, an unique. Its a japanese power house. This will be a very collectible wanted watch when it ages.
I’m 84 years old and mow 3 acr of grass I 😅Java liberty scag 61 it is grate
That's a badass sombitch orange skittle
I would have said thanks but to no thanks once I saw those tuff torques. Theres a reason that 95% of the mower industry uses Hydro Gear...
I have to keep off Jomashop every so often or I'll go broke. Between the watches and colognes its a dangerous thing. BTW I'm from Texas and I thought I had a southern drawl!! You have me beat on the southern twang.
Why would you remove the movement and put the case in a cleaner, when you could simply put the watch under warm water and wipe dry with a microfiber towel?
What are you talking about? If it is something I said in my video about cleaning, to properly get in-between the links, and if you really have a build up, a cleaner for a couple of minutes is the best way to get it out. I find the worst place for dirt and grime build up is between the band and case, a regular wash under soap and water just want get that out of them areas that while. Everyone has their're way, and I like to make sure as they say, leave no stone unturned.
I bought the liberty which I have 300 hours and I am staying to sell my liberty and get a commercial
Pigneer
I was told that is how it was designed.
Nice watch. How much did you pay for it?
At the time it was around $530.
How is it on bumpy yards? Wondering how comfortable it is on rough areas. Do they make a seat with springs?
Not too bad, the commercial grade units have the better ride, I think the next up from this is the Patriot and you get a little more mower for the buck.
It says this video is 8 years old I'm thinking about getting one are you still satisfied with the purchase??
I changed the bracelet to a full brushed steel, sapphire crystal and ceramic bezel, best watch ive own
Where were you able to find a full brushed steel bracelet?
Good vid. Thinking about getting one
