Our adventure begins with a three-mile hike to a beautiful waterfall. The trail, filled with rocks and steps, offers a moderate challenge but rewards us with stunning views and the soothing sound of cascading water. We highly recommend this hike for its breathtaking scenery and the sense of tranquility it provides. Lake Tahoe's alpine beauty is truly unmatched.
Next, we hop on electric bikes from Anderson's Bikes. It's our first time on electric bikes, and they make the experience so much fun! We explore various bike trails that offer panoramic views of the lake and surrounding wilderness. The ease of riding electric bikes allows us to cover more ground and enjoy more of what South Lake Tahoe has to offer.
After a day of outdoor activities, we head to Camp Richardson, a charming campsite with a live band, food, and plenty of spots to relax by the water. It's the perfect place to unwind and soak in the natural beauty of Lake Tahoe. The campsite's friendly atmosphere and scenic location make it a must-visit.
Our journey continues with a visit to Edgewood Resort, where we explore the beautiful grounds and enjoy some shopping and dining. Edgewood offers a luxurious escape with its pristine setting and top-notch amenities. It's a great spot for those looking to indulge in some luxury while still being close to nature.
One of the highlights of our trip is dining at Lisa Vanderpump’s new restaurant, Wolf. The restaurant’s ambiance, impeccable service, and delicious food make it a standout experience. From the famous Vanderpump cheese balls to the exquisite espresso martini, every dish is a delight. If you're planning a visit, make sure to book your reservations in advance to avoid the wait.
Finally, we share tips for booking the perfect Airbnb and maximizing your stay in South Lake Tahoe. Our Airbnb host was fantastic, and the accommodations were perfect for our group. Staying in an Airbnb gives you the flexibility and comfort to fully enjoy your trip.
