The Slickrock Stranger

The Slickrock Stranger roams the canyons and rivers of the Colorado Plateau with his brothers Even Stranger and Waaaaay Stranger, staying away for weeks at a time and occasionally leaving the canyon country to share his music.
He's played his songs for years throughout Utah and the West at peace rallies, environmental rallies, various folk music venues, desert gatherings, the Utah State Capitol, the Utah Arts Festival, and once while standing in front of Ed Abbey's old truck.
Whether he's singing about wilderness and public land issues, political issues, or the strange people involved, the thoughts and ideas that come from his desert sun-baked brain provide some odd but humorous viewpoints about Utah and the West, it's politics and characters.
As the saying goes, no matter where he sings, "It's just gonna get stranger". Be prepared.

Utah Circuit Breaker 2024 - Circuit Breaker information & the Instructional Video for Renter Refund.
This video is the complete Circuit Breaker video that includes the Instructional Video and much more information on the Utah Circuit Breaker program. This video will serve to educate Utahns about how to participate in the Circuit Breaker program for property owners and renters and will give full instructions on how to fill out the forms for the Renter Refund program. Watch this video - and get the forms in by December 31st!!!!!!!
This video has some very important information about Circuit Breaker publicity, participation, improvements to Circuit Breaker, funding, and the future and possible elimination of this program that served 44,608 Utah households in 2023. Please find some time to view this.

The Renter Refund program serves people who have rented a home, apartment, or paid a lot rental on space for a manufactured home or trailer.
Qualifications?
You must've turned 66 by the end of 2023, or be an unmarried widow or widower of ANY age who was married to your spouse when they passed.
You must've lived in Utah all of 2023, you can't be a tax deduction on someone else's tax return, and your household income must be less than $40,840.

I'll rate this band A+ for all players. Dan had high praise for Gavin Largent by comparing him to Jerry Douglas. I've heard both. Gavin may be excellent but he's no Jerry Douglas.
Yeah, I'm glad Dan is happy with all his players, but really? Might want to check with Jerry Douglas, Rob Ickes, Andy Hall, and Steve Lutz. And Sierra Hull's VERY lucky beau, Justin Moses.

Marty and his group are one of the best bands playing live in any genre today. So much musical history with each member. The string bender is a great instrument and Marty is paying homage to Clarence.
