In this extended video I attempt to make something of the rainy weather and show you how I approach painting a forrest in the mist. Printmaking at home: how to drypoint without a press

Here I show you how you can do printmaking at home using a car instead of a printing press, using tetra-pak from smoothie cartons to print with. If you don'e own any printing ink, you can use any water-based paint you have lying around, just make sure that you get the paper nice and wet first. Follow me on insta @harrietgillettart

You need a felt pad / blanket just under your top board...to get proper press on the paper...imo. I'm going to have to try this though. Good Luck.

Can we use thick paper for this technique?
heya yes I think so- just have an experiement and make sure the paper is damp before hand. You can get all sorts of printmaking paper which is perfect for the job!
