    This was an excellent video, thank you for sharing your hike. I’m taking my nephew on this hike with me in July (five months to train). He will be seventeen and he is very excited! Love ABR! We used to drive up from Central Illinois. Ironically, we live in Mid-Michigan now, and the route is less direct/longer, but there are some good x-country areas in the mitten. Heading up to Cross Country Ski Headquarters for the weekend in a couple of days though. Still, nothing like skiing in the UP.

    Hey Chad, thanks for making this video. Do you notice that the internal mic on the ZV-1 picks up the internal camera sounds especially in a quiet room? I noticed this in my last video, and it's kinda annoying, especially for shots that don't have any talking, as it becomes easier to hear the camera noises in the audio when nobody is talking. Thanks dude!

    • @chadmurphy7939
      @chadmurphy7939 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The trail up to Chicken Out Ridge is easy to follow but the ridge itself is not as obvious. We were lucky because we got to watch someone go before us. In terms of difficulty. You must use your hands and I am a little afraid of heights so I made a point of not looking down and just continuing to climb. Overall this is a steep climb almost from the very beginning but also very rewarding. Hope that helps.

Your choice of music for the entire video was very well done, but I must say the Rocky theme going up Cloud Peak is utterly fantastic! I've been up Cloud, and the music says it all. I almost teared up when you got to the top and 2001 (Also Sprach Zarathustra) accurately expressed what it feels like to reach the summit and look down the cliff at Glacier Lakes. Brilliant!
