The 7700 probably runs slightly better than a 12600kf in fortnite ( by the way I'm guessing you got the 0% of userbenchmarks. That website is extremely biased I wouldn't recommend using it )

The recording is at 60fps and shouldn't skip frames any stutters are probably because of the cpu

Hi, the drivers I used were just the ones of the amd website. If they are not working for you I think iceberg tech has some videos of some other drivers on older amd cards

The gtx 970 is a card I was repairing to sell and I ran this just to test that the card was 100% good before selling

The highest I have been able to get this motherboard to run at is 2666mhz it isn't a issue with the miss matching sticks It's the motherboard, I have seen peaple get around 3000 on 6th gen. I have tried running it faster on some 5333hmz trident z royal I have (2x8gb) witch backs up me thinking it's my motherboard, either way I think it's quite safe to guess that if peaple are buying a 6th gen pc it's probably going to be on quite a tight budget and won't be using the highest end motherboards

The power supply I am using in this pc is a 600 watt kolink classic I bought of ebay for £14 , don't buy this power supply it could blow up at any moment

Stuttering is quite a bad problem on any low end system with fortnite and yes I do get a bit on this

An old optiplex is always a decent choice for a cheap gaming pc, it might be worth however to get a never one with an i5 if it is a possibility. Another thing with them is that most don't have gpu power cables witch limits what graphics cards you can get ( I'm on the wrong account)

@@legacyfn ive seen Elijahs Lab's video making a gaming pc with the dell optiplex 7040 mt (i believe its called) and you can fit a gpu on there without the need to get smaller ones. Should i stick to buying the optiplex and then saving up money for cpu and gpu?

Even with an rtx 3060 your game will only run about as well as mine in this vid because of the cpu bottleneck, even in the setup I tested here its only using about 60% of a gtx970 so the rtx 3060 will hardly even be used.

very big bottleneck : you basically have a powerful GPU instead of cpu. The cpu is making the GPU perform bad bc of how bad it is.

its because of serious bottleneck , upgrade your cpu and motherboard. i would recommend i5 11th gen , its perfect for that gpu

Dont listen to anything , amd graphic cards do not benefit from performance mode on fn , thats what fps u gonna get

100% 3d res all low, its a huge cpu bottleneck so try to limit any background activity you have going. Try to make sure you have duel channel ram and a decent ssd might help

Hi, I personally wouldn't buy the i7 6700 these days I would try to save up for an amd ryzen cpu and a cheap am4 motherboard. No fortnite mixes all players together however this account is in very low matchmaking as I haven't used it in nearly a year ( this is me btw I just replied on the wrong acc)

If you dont mind me asking what contry are you in as I could recommend some good alternative depending on it

@@thebenchmarkschannel hi it's a pc that i only use 3 times in the entire month. It's not my main rig. Not even a second one. That is why I'm planning to add a new CPU, but don't want to upgrade the entire system or fresh install windows

@JoNaXKaY I don't think there should be a huge difference beetween the i7 and the i5 tbh I haven't used a 6th gen i5 but I wouldn't guess its big

Turns out the difference is quite big in modern games, with ~40% performance increase (multiple comparisons on youtube). That generation was at a time where i5 and i7 could have quite different performance in games, which is not really the case anymore @@thebenchmarkschannel

hi sorry for late reply i cant really remember as i made the vid so long ago, if i had to guess probs just around 200 more on the core clock and memory clock ( this cpu cant be overclocked so its just gpu )

Not 100% sure about the wattage I was running i don't use this laptop anymore. It was an asus rog strix g15

hi sorry for the late reply, that seems very low for your pc make sure you are using an ssd and decent memory. this vid will have more fps because the game was easyer to run in c3 however that does seem low

I have roughly same FPS w a r5 2600 and rx590 , in perf mode my pc is unstable but since I use dx12 no drops in FPS at all

hi sorry for the late reply, this whole pc was a mess icl it is not a ram issue and was more because the only drive i had at the time was a hdd that was on its last legs, i might take this vid down as it is quite misleading

@snoebix5125 fortnite performance mode tends to run quite badly on amd gpus because they are more optimised on dx12, performance mode however is essentially a cut down version of the dx11 leading to it running quite poorly on amd
