This is mental....I have 3 of these , 2 that won't even power on and they are immaculate....they have been stored for about 5 years but were working when stored.. without batteries. I've got One in bits on my bench and literally can't find an issue...well not anything obvious....and you say these turn on.... I must be so unlucky ...... Currently chatting to Sennheisers to see if they can be fixed. I did notice blue corrosion on the battery terminals but as I said they weren't like that when stored and I religiously take batteries out after every performance..So annoying as they a bloody expensive to replace...got any tips of things to look out for....my third one works perfectly...go figure.....

The internal battery is a FB-NP-W126S. I replaced mine with a Patona NP-W126S 1140mAh

Hi There is some videos in youtube showing dell or hp psu hot plugs convert to bench power suply. They could run the psu hot plugs by connecting some pins but they just could run them to take a small curent not the maximum curent. Could you please tell me how to run my "hp 2450w hstns-pr16 platinum hot plug" and "hp 2650w hstns-pr42 platinum hot plug" into a bench power suply to take the maximum curent and power? Greetings from Argentina I have a crown xls 2500 which in its output stage has an NSS20201L Low VCE(sat)NPN And in Argentina there is no such transistor. Do you know if I can replace it with a normal NPN one? From already thank you very much

I have an crown xti 2002 that was doing the same thing at turning on but i also had All leds on both sides on. Can be detected on pc. So i turn it on,no fan,display on but blank and the leds are all on. Did you ever met this problem,or any ideea what should i look for? Ex owner claimed is an firmware error but didn't want to give more details

Great work. I have a Rotel pre amp RC03, along with 4 power amps. Its been a fault free system for the last 24 years. I have noticed that the channel selector on the pre amp is becoming a problem. Its basically skipping channels after selecting. sometimes minutes after selecting the right channel. Can you recommend a easy fix, or is this a back to Shop or Rotel?

Hi Jordan, I have one of the XLS models and in sleep mode the strobing lights give me the shits. Do you recall if they are SMD or through hole discrete led's? I'm contemplating covering them over or disabling them on the board (the front cover doesn't facilitate hiding the obnoxiousness of these). Also curious if you know what the power draw is in "Standby"?

God Damnit. Must have seated it wrong. It started to come on properly then shorted out and blew the amp. Be careful to clean thoroughly before replacing the cable, especially when the amp was left semi-outdoors in a shed or something and accumulated bits or rust or corrosion.

Ive actually repaired a few of these in a very similar condition a couple of years ago. Eventually got them to work. had to make a few jumpers on the damaged traces.

I have the xls 2500 (earlier version) and it exhibit the same issue with that amp in this video. The only difference is that i displays "error 404". I don't know what is so i tried to fix it by plugging and unplugging it multiple times until i hear the "double click" and then it works again. But sometimes when it doesn't work i just go back to it some other day and it's working again. Is it the same issue with the one on your video or something else? What does "error 404" mean. Hope you can answer this. Thank you ao much.

Hi. I'm having problems with 3 of 4 HP DSP 460 EB. I'm building one power supply 24 voltages basing on 2x DSP 460EB. They are in series connection and one of them were modyfied. Ground connection on PCB was broke. This is oportunity to series connection without short circuit. But my problems are DSP who just "give up" One day they working fine but next day they are death. What I can do. How I can check what is wrong with them. They just not starting with green LED light. I'm bearing "click" while connection to the power cable but nothin really is going one. Reistors are soldered between 1 and 4 pin. Can You give me some advices?
