@@bjrnkristensen8132 I would always recommend balancing the wheel. If it is out of balance you could experience wheel shaking at higher speeds. It could also cause you to have a speed wobbles.

@@bjrnkristensen8132 I always have cycle gear remove and balance mine. It is like 25 dollars if you buy the tires from them. Not sure if one is close to you. You will have to remove the wheels and bring them up there.

It should tell you or I would recommend calling/email them. Usually if the material is a mesh like steel wool it is synthetic but if it is a cotton material you will have to oil it. Sorry not much help.

The following is what I copied from the Arlen Ness website in the product description for the M8 oval filter: "Each filter is made from high-flow black pre-oiled cotton media wrapped in a stainless-steel jacket for optimum airflow with a unique look." According to the website the M8 oval air filter is pre-oiled and its media is cotton. I plan on re-oiling mine with black oil available from K&N.

@@JamesBicknell-v3p interesting, I asked them when I bought it and was told not to oil it. Wondering if filter element changed. I bought this one 5 or 6 years ago so it is possible. Here is there cleaner they sell for their filters. I have used it on other Arlen Ness filters. amzn.to/3Zl8tTZ

@@DoubleDMoto The cleaner appears to be an all in one product as it comes in clear and red and is described as a cleaner/oil kit. Sounds like the "CLP" of air filter recharge kits. Nevertheless, I liked your video and I still plan on re-oiling mine as if it were a K&N filter since it came pre-oiled in the beginning. Thanks for responding.

@@CharlesRomeII they have engineered this motorcycle so well. It will run at high rpm’s for long periods of time. I would keep it pegged at 5500 or right at redline but 4500 you are good. Just make sure your oil is at correct level and temperature and you will be good to go!

It’s a Harley of course it is vibrating. 😂 Honestly it was more the road than than the motorcycle, upgraded rear suspension shortly after. It makes a world of difference in the ride.

@@samanthacalvin7325 it gets rid of the small vibrations that causing the damage to the cameras that’s why I went to GoPro. I don’t even mess with filming on my phone anymore.

@@jbones2121 yes the do!! I even went back and changed out the ripple pegs for the smooth ones. I added skateboard grip tape so my feet won’t slide off.

@@TheRICARDO0417 before buying the piece, try folding a small piece of paper between the two parts and try it again after that. I have seen a couple after making this video the button is not lined up correctly. Which causes it not to work as well.

@@late-nightfirefly9317 I don’t see why they wouldn’t. The mirrors that I went with after putting these on are the same ones that were on my 2015 Sportster. Same type on mounting.

@@chimnhatthanh2107 with the synthetic or oiled (k&n types) ones they will last forever with proper maintenance. If not synthetic or oiled I would recommend every 5000 miles.

@@mrobb90 that should be good enough. A lot of bolt going into metal you will be fine. When going into aluminum you need to be careful.

@@PartyRockKing23 I screwed the rear plate to the lift as it liked to slide or move when putting motorcycles on and off lift. It is still easy to remove when needed. More of a safety feature.

The grease definitely helps. As for the plastic spacer, yes could be a bad thing if they end up in the wrong place! Hopefully they won’t cause any damage as they are plastic. You did get lucky you noticed the crushing. Ride safe!

I thought about doing two as well, but didn’t really want to hide or route a lot of hose. The plastic T has held up for a long time so I think I’m good. It is not a cheap one I got thankfully.

I actually did the 2 holes, made my own catch can with gas filter . I went under air filter to a Y then went between the rod tubes & engine down the front between exhaust pipe & engine mounted catch can next tp rear brake reservoir. Haven't tested yet due to the weather. I also installed Arlen Ness big Sucker Oval using stock cover. Its 1/2" wider than stock

The T fitting is 1/4 through the grommet and 1/4 on all three sides. All hose is 1/4 except a small piece at the catch can. At the catch can I used 1/4 to 3/8 adapter as the can has 3/8 fitting. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching!

@@DoubleDMoto my bad I was referring to the upgraded version. However they say that there is no check valve on the upgraded version like the trask unit has. Does that mean it doesn’t function the same?

@@mikegil262 I will have to double check when the new version arrives but if no check valve it will not be the same. However you can buy a decent check valve cheap making it the same function as the trask. I would like to do a comparison of both of them to show the differences. The quality of the Nicecnc products are very good.
