I think these thermostats are programmed to fail after warranty ends. Mine started to not connect to wifi. Then a month later screen went blank white. Been seeing a lot of youtubers documenting similar complaints.

This same thing just happened to us. The screen suddenly went fuzzy. We called someone out, our warranty was 5 year, and we've had it 6 years yesterday. $1300 for new s30 model install, $500 for basic thermostat. What!? It's insane. What did you end up doing for yours?
