Masterpiece

I used to listen to this song on repeat (burned onto a CD) my freshman year of college. I never spoke to anyone--just class, walking, homework, walking, sleeping, this song. It takes me right back.

I was lucky enough to see them in Kansas one time at an event called "Kegs and Eggs", (circa 2006?) which started at 8AM at a bar in Lenexa. The audience was, as one can imagine, made up of a cross between night shift workers and hard core alcoholics. Great times.

Still listening in 2020.

How are people still finding out about this song? Sirius Left of Center used to play it like 5 years ago, but haven't played in years that I've seen. Love this jam.

I heard this song yesterday at a store. Loved it. I asked sales person if she knew the title or artist. She did not. The store was busy and much noise so I was only able to get the part of the lyrics That says BEFORE OUR EYES. It haunted me. I looked it up using these partial lyrics and the word MOUNTAIN which I also remembered. A bunch of songs came up but for some reason I zeroed in on The Republic Tigers. I read the entire lyrics and it made sense to me. This lead me to the video and VOILA! It is this very song! So happy! Love it! I can sleep tonight!
