Bones! Not a very stable video as my GoPro was swinging from a fishing line and the video is upside down. There is a pile of debris at the bottom of this shaft. Hopefully they are all animals. A team of cavers will be looking into this soon! More to come! Is the cave spoken about in historical records? is it the one that is 700 feet deep going all the way down to the ocean waters below? A good view of the north base of Neahaknie mountain here in Oregon and two other large rock slides that most likely came down during the Jan 26 1700 mega thrust earthquake. I believe it is possible that other portions of the wreck may be buried in these locations after the Beeswax wreck broke up in the first place it was stuck on the sandy beach near the original mouth of the Nehalem. Sadly, still to this day we have been unable to be allowed to collect this piece. It disappeared and washed around since 2021 and I found it again recently stuck in another. Hopefully it’s still where I found it last as I am working on getting help to get this and further my research hopefully with Spain’s help.

    Hi Craig, Great meeting you the other day with my daughter! We’re having fun watching your videos and learning about the shipwreck. The porcelain you gave her is going in our photo album/scrapbook. It really means a lot to me that you took the time to talk with us, it was our first time taking the kids to Oregon and she will definitely remember you! It’s not common to meet someone kind and interesting like yourself and in hindsight I wish we had taken more time to talk with you. Thank you again, please stay safe and good luck on your future adventures!

    I'm only new to bee keeping, but i thought a swarm was with the old Queen from the hive, hence only 1 queen? Unless another swarm from a different hive?

    • @CraigAndes1
      @CraigAndes1 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I found as many as 19 queen cells in one of my hives before. Usually the average is 5 to 7 in my hives. When the queens hatch, they may stay and take over the hive if the worker bees that are addicted to the new queens pheromones may kill the old queen to replace her. But more than often they will take much of the honey and make a new hive elsewhere. The 1st queen, that hatches out of a batch will attract a majority of the bees with her pheromones, and they will follow as she leaves. The worker bees will have sometimes already located another hive spot and marked it with attractive pheromones for the queen to follow to it.
