For you next try fill the mould a little more to completely cover shells and avoid sharp edges which will then need sanding On a plus note I love your colour combo

Great first try I work with shells alot and I can see yiu have a big hole in your piece where a shell is this is because the air becomes trapped inside the shell A great way to stop this happening is to cat or dip all your shells first you can also face them to first to make sure resin fills the inside of the shell up so no air can get trapped in this can happen when adding many things into resin It's a learn as you go process 4 years in and I still learn new things every day Once your hooked your hooked though

Hello Yulia! So excited you're trying this hobby out! Your creation turned out so wonderfully, well done! I'd like to just point out a few helpful little tips. 1. What you labeled as measuring cups when unboxing, actually include the pumps for the bottles as well. Just so people know all they get with the kit! While they are helpful for measuring, make sure to go off the measurement lines on an actual cup and not just pump amounts. Another point I noticed is that you had a respirator on the table, but never put it on. It is a very good idea to wear a respirator, regardless of how safe the resin is. It's just one more step to reduce any potential health issues! Secondary point, but similar, please make sure not to have your face hovering over so close while mixing. It's a safety hazard. I've seen people get startled and splash resin up and out of the cup. If your face is near, that's not a good outcome! 😱 Last note, it seemed like the table you were pouring on might have been uneven? It may have been a trick of the light, but it seemed like the resin was pooling more to one side than the other. When working with open faced molds like that, it's a great idea to get a leveling tool and make sure your workspace is even and level. ❤ Other than that, I'm so happy to see you researched so well before jumping into resin working. I can't wait to see what else you come up with!

Please don't follow the advice in this video, I have suggested they remove it. Craft Resin is 1.1 by volume only NOT weight (both parts don't weigh the same), flowers are pre dried, and they haven't poured the 1.1 in one 2/3inch layer. I've used CR for 4/5 years now and pouring that mold full of 1.1 would have caused a flash cure, loads of bubbles, burnt flowers and it definitely would not have looked liked this at the end pouring in one layer to demold in 24hrs! In the first 2 seconds you can see it's not measured right otherwise bottles would have equal amounts left

never had that prob. mix slower or buy diff resin

I have always used craft resin and I love it. I poured a thin top layer on a small piece yesterday. It has not set at all. I used metallic mica, is there anything I can do ? Kind regards Lesley
