River Swale OOS brownie on hair rig cheese paste
Im not getting in to tit for tat but your comment you need to be a membef is gullible beyond belief , not only do rivers rarely get policed anymore but you still think we live in times where the average scroats and illegals actually care about rules These videos are about people wanting to record their days ,i get that i do it , i just dont then advertise it to everyone its for me and my famoly and mates memories
Couldn't agree more ,rivers are in right state generally ,and few go to places left , all people do is advertise sections of river to poach Also wherever you likely to catch barbel I'd beef gear up a bit , will make no difference to bites on that stretch , and will result in less breakages, exhausted fish ,and line and hooks in snags and bushes . Luckily the big barrel you called at end which was actually really small was landed and handled well ,we're you on barbless hooks ,that hook took bit force to get out , other than that well done , but people don't need to know where you are ,and people think club waters are safe from poaching ,they actually more at risk
Thanks for the comments and taken on board. I will certainly think about video titles in future. It was an oversight and I think it was a barbed hook/micro barbed and was surprised myself when taking the hook out. Tight lines.
Cracking spot that buddy ….. some lovely fish in the Swale and fished along that stretch on many occasions …. Probably seen you there at some point if you’ve been a member for a while ……. My old man loves fishing there though his bad knees hinder him more these days… Just seen the other comments and I too am looking for some new waders and them ones you mention look spot on although pricey you get what you pay for sometimes …. Also a mention about making videos and showing people where to fish. Quite a few people do it on TH-cam though I haven’t ever myself …. I’ve come across people who are non members and people will take risks and don’t give a shite if it’s club water or not …. You get that everywhere and been going on for decades …. Well before TH-cam videos …. It’s sad how these people will spend money on a night out but not for a year subscription to fish these amazing waters … just amazes me!!!! ….. we come in all shapes and forms … love the video …. All the best and some lovely fish caught 🎣😉
Thanks mate for the kind words. Cannot please everybody. Also astounds me that folk ask about only the free fishing spots when a few quid could open up a lifetime of fishing venues.
@@ellis350 most certainly and no problem buddy 🎣🎣😀😀😀
What chest waders you got , I’m in the market for a pair and the ones I’ve seen so far aren’t up to much. Nice chub you had there 😎
Thanks. They are the Vision Koski. Have the matching boots also. They are fly fishing waders. Not cheap but comfy, breathable and durable
@@ellis350 thanks 👍
You shouldn't put where this is, if people recognise it fair enough, people putting these videos on TH-cam are ruining these fisheries.
I disagree. You need to be member of the club to fish the stretch. It’s not against the club rules so with respect, I am not really interested in your concern
@@ellis350 What a surprise.
I love going sockburn I seen good wait from the bridge 10:14
Subbed mate 🎣👍
Thanks for the sub!
Great video. Not sure about that idiot that fell over though! Is such a good way to keep the memories of the day. Great editing work too!
Me dad is the baylife on the other side of the bridge
Danny? I have met him. Lovely bloke. Pass on my regards.
Back on the fly rod?! love it mate
Thanks Adam. Think it’s a fine line between saying too little or boring folk to death. Maybe have been better if there had been more rod bending action.
Great video, really enjoyed it. Don't you be slipping in! That's my job when you are playing a fish.
Great Video Ellis. Really useful to have some narration. You have good knowledge of those beats. "Thrappy", love that!!!
Great footage. I especially liked the takes as I didn't see them at the time. Really good to have the record of the session! great work!
Looks like downstream of bowl hole.
Lovely river that.
Shame you don't see me falling over!! You were a little busy
Heard a big fucker splashing about upstream
@@ellis350 Tees seal or more likely Walrus spotted at Dinsdale!
Great action shot "You fucker!" 🤣😂
Dead baits or lure?
Think it was dead’s that day
Get an unhooking mat bro could of really hurt that fish
If you watch some of my other videos we normally have them. It was on the grass and a Matt doesn’t stop them flipping of it. Fair point though
Absolute sausage.
No, it was absolutely floating bread. The title should give it away.
What bait did you use
The pike attacked the fish that was caught on maggot or worm.
this shower of shit wouldnt tell yer where a birds nest is,fucking bunch of cranks that dont like being told how it is.......go on their leftist facebook page and ask them where they fish they wont tell you but expect other seasoned fisherman to do so......and you can fish the tees for salmon legally from yarm to stockton from february to end of october thats the law on the e.a website i told them this an they banned me fucking tit ends.......... but they have blogs running on weak cloud servers ;-) #_
@@skunkhead2007 ok thanks
When it flipped I thought it's off. Well done on mono too wow!
So did I. Had to play it carefully
What you said.... my thoughts exactly. Shame, looked a really good fish.
Gutted mate, might have to get me self down there one evening 👍👍
Thanks, expected with 3lb tippet
How do you get the French fire brigade to help?
nice build, what cladding and paint did you use?
Thanks, it tongue and groove treated redwood from Wickes, painted with Sadolin Extra in Ebony colour.
Now then mate I know it’s close season, but have you have much luck for barbel at pierce bridge and gainford thanks.
Hi there, never tried coarse fishing there to be honest. I know there are good size chub in there but was unaware that there were barbel. No reason why there shouldn’t though.
There's no barbel or pike above broken scar dam.
Very nice build can I please ask where you bought your white french doors from.
Hi Paul. Thank you. they are anthracite. The white is just the protective film. I bought them from a local family business
@@ellis350 Many thanks.
what breaking strain is the titanium trace?, looks well stiff and still has good movement.
Sorry for the late reply. Seem to think they are 90lb BS
Hey mate, this might be a daft question but how do you get on that bridge? I’ve recently joined Stockton and haven’t fished Gainford in years. I went the other week and the bridge was blocked off.
Graham Corking only been there once this year but you can squeeze down the left hand side of the railings, or you could. Failing that, if the water isn’t up, you can wade across just upstream of the bridge at the tail of the pool.
@@ellis350 Oh amazing, cheers mate!
Have you ever tried to get up through boat lane on the Yorkshire side? Apparently there's parking but looks a bit sketchy
Graham Corking never parked down there
Hi there just a quick question I was going to reweight my Burt it’s already weighted coming in @ 86g but it barely sinks it should I just add lead to take it up to 88g
Haha was a bit wet!
Adam Chumbley you were embracing H2O like an Arab at a mirage
Thanks Ellis, that is superb!!! Great to get some video of the take. Great camera work
A few pb's in There!! 😂🤣😂
Adam Chumbley feel free to pop round and get one! Boom boom 🤣
Lovely trout. Would have been lovely with some chips and mushy peas. Great that you put him back. True sportsmanship.
Vincent Donnelly thanks Vince 👍
Your a great fisherman. Imagine if you had a ball of worms on. A new record no doubt.
Vincent Donnelly thank you sir
How much would it cost to rent your boat and is it fast enough to outrun law enforcement? I just need to get the goods past the barrage.
Parmo Escobar sorry but don’t trust anybody who has a name the same as my favourite take away!!!!!🤣🤣🤣
You'd be entitled to a cut of the profit Ellis.
I'll never forget this ride, Antibes to Cole and back on Mountain bike. Amazing
Looks a nice place is it local
Is in North Yorkshire. The Oaks in Sessay.
Great catch. A real beauty.
Cundall lodge ? th-cam.com/video/F4U24ftMjyc/w-d-xo.html
Beauty that one!
Felt like I was there!! Great to see the take. You picked the rod up just in time. Would be good to see how a trout hits the cheesepaste!
well nice chris ;-) il be first to like
Learn how to handle pike proply before yo go for them'dont just hang it there by your lure 'learn how to chin a fish out then unhook them
The picture quality gets me EVERY time. Is amazing quality
Nice catches :) looks like a perfect day to be out in the boat :)
Nice set up you have there.
You giving away all our secrets!! Hahah
Yeah, thinking I should have blurred out the video and muted the volume
