Bear Tried to Eat Our Chickens! Don't Do What I Do!
Footage from awhile ago when a black bear got a little too interested in our chickens. You can hear my partner trying to scare it off by yelling, then I ran outside and threw a board at it, please don't do that if you are in a similar situation, you can see the exact moment I realize that was a stupid thing to do! I fired a shot into the air to further scare it away. As of yet it has not returned, and no one was harmed. And yes, I am wearing a tunic...

I Caught a Skunk by Accident, and Got Sprayed!

Folks often abandon cats out here, which is terrible. I set a trap to catch a stray cat so they could be adopted out and ended up catching a skunk instead! UPDATE: We did eventually catch the cat, his name is Rosco and hes happily sleeping beside me as I type this, I also no longer smell like skunk.
Coyote Attempt on Chickens

Coyote tried to get into the chicken coop. This is security camera footage and I made it out there as soon as I saw the alert. The sound at the end is me firing bio degradable powder rounds at the coyote to scare him away. Everyone survived and was happy again right away after some treats!

Donkey against a coyote?
The coyote was a professional videogame player like: "I JUST KNOW THERE IS A SECRET ENTRANCE TO THIS ROOM! IT MUST BE SOMEHERE!"
Had a yote take a swipe at my birds this evening. They were all out and my orpingtons were digging around in the edge of the woods at the back of the yard where the yote came out on them. He missed and they sounded the general quarters alarm and headed straight for me. Got behind me on the porch, rooster in front of them ready for a fight. The marans were going in but came back out of their coop and lined up behind me against the house, roosters up front. Me in front facing the yote. No gun and stuck with just being able to chase the stupid thing off his chicken dinner. 20 birds all screaming the alarm for the next 20 minutes stirring up the neighborhood. hahahaha So much drama.... lol
Yikes! Our Tom turkey has fully grown since this video and has become a good protector as well! Sounds like you got some top roosters!

Haha yeah I bet, we have had an owl as well since, that turkey has grown and took on the owl, scared it away!
What's that tapping sound? I hope the owner isn't just watching this and banging on the window. This is very stressful for the poor poultry- they think they're about to die at any second.

I really like your run. But boy the hens don't have the common sense to go inside the coop where it would be extra safe.
That's what I was thinking. Why didn't they all go in the coop?
They would feel "trapped" in the building.
