Instead of silk thread you can use satin ribbon , the size of your choice.no one has done it in TH-cam so far. My friend tried and it is beautiful. She also tried using fabric of her raw silk saree blouse cuttings after blouse. She made like ribbon with the scrap cloth and did braids in bangle and diamond stones in between braids.
