I installed a new ttf font in my windows/fonts folder and I tried closing and reopening carbide create a few times but the font is never there :(

I just recently bought and downloaded carbide create. Doing this video will do nothing and not give you the option in the drop down menu

how can i remove fonts to add new fonts
Video tutorial is good. Unfortunately the sound level is too low, and it's hard to make out what you're saying.
hi does this software only works for carbide machine? or any cnc machine can be work?
Carbide create produces gcode to run the machine, the codes it uses are pretty basic and should work for most machines, but be extra careful running on a different machine

Great video, thanks. But for some reason they are not getting up load to carbide create. I already restart the software, I even deleted and downloaded again, and nothing happens. Any advice?
I can confirm that it does not just show up automatically. I'm not sure what else to do.

Slow Brown Fox Makes yes they are! I can see them in word but not in Carbide Create
@@Dekruyf12 That's very strange. I would try contacting carbide 3D support, you have the fonts installed correctly so there must be something wrong on the CC side. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Great info, could you please shoot a video on how to transfer fonts to the Carbide create list?
They should show up automatically after you install them. You'll need to restart create. They go off data saved in the file not the file name, in a couple situations I've had to go hunting for because it started with something different then I was expecting

@Amos Micah Thanks for your reply. I got to the site through google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
I just tried to replicate what you did and the letters aren't welded like yours did when you moved them upwards. what did I do wrong
Sorry for the slow reply. The only thing I can think of is that you've deselected part of the text. when you first use the outline tool all the new lines it has made are selected and will move as one when you drag them, if you click anywhere else it will deselect everything and if you try to just click one part of the letters the non-selected sections wont move together. once you'd moved it off the text box letters you can use the group tool to keep all the individual parts together. Hope this helps!

Shortly after this video I decided to go to school for machining, so I've been working about 70 hours a week lol. But yes I hope to make more, with way way more experience under my belt!
