So kept the block and just replaced pistons and rods?
@@CeeJayC3903 yes, block was fine. Replaced piston and heads.
@@centralfloridafreedomrider4364 Lucky that it wasn't the block. Should've changed the rods too while you were in there.
@@CeeJayC3903 It already has forged rods. The rods are fine, no need to change them.

Had a 98 C5 w/V3si (9 lbs). Loved the drivability of the v3 and A&A’s brackets/kit. I have a 07 Z. I know it would be a monster w/a little boost. 6 lbs? How much boost are you running?

Music wasn't loud enough in the first minute, I could still hear you talking lmao jk tho. Seriously these platforms fuck with a blower setup. I just finished building my second c5z with a Vortech blower and a 3.4" Griptec pulley, it's getting it's E85 dyno tune on Wednesday. We're hoping for into the 720whp range but we won't know till it gets it's first full send on a fresh tune.

They have a 770 hp 800+ crank c5 or c6 in my range but you gotta remember the rule! Never buy someone elses project!

Yeah, my 4 cylinder will only do 131mph.
1988 mk2 16v gti. About same on 1800cc. it would easily accelerate to over 100 up a 6%
198mph and NO racing seatbelts? That sounds like trouble waiting to happen. 🤷

@@roygordon4946 i still have an original Trans/Diff with 170k hard miles. Ive only used the oem fluids. I believe Dex 6 for Trans and the mobile1 75-90 for diff.
