Yes please
Does the size or species of tree make a difference?
My scarlet says “this app cannot be installed because intergity could not be verified” please look into it i would really appreciate a response
Will be reading about you in the newspaper
Dont wok
Not worth the risk
Why is the audio f*ck off😂
Shouldn't say anything about this, the power companies will be sticking electricity meters on trees next....
I don't uave airtag
excellent produt from apple
So Avatar isn’t t so far fetched, interesting
Awesome project... but what about lighting ?
And my neighbors think I’m crazy definitely never hooked three trees to a booster
I think that song at first was one by Metallica
I like what you are doing but you got the most inaccurate multimeter ever there.
Add the rigbt nutrients and youll increase potential current and keep your trees healthier. Look up the arborjet line of products. Good luck!
This just in, we recently discovered we're not doing enough to kill the planet... We're now doubling down
560 trees and your electricity bill is free..
Never trust a harbor freight multimeter 😂😂😂
I mean your not lying 😂😂😂
Say what now?
Finally the phone charger we needed xD
Does it play the local radio station?
Come to Humboldt Ca.
Awesome can feel it
When extracting volts out of trees, are the roots "ground" & the fruit "positive"? Are the limbs "branch lines"? What keeps dogs from getting shocked when they pee on a tree?.
The bark is insulation 😂 keeping the dogs safe
Works on animals too. 😬 Seriously, the brain can have a couple volts on its surface.
Drive a screw into anything tall and youre going to read some voltage (potential energy). Now try and generate current on that voltage.
All you need is a diode and a capacitor and you should be good.
all you need is a wire to get a current to flow. There will be current but not much. Imagine a flat button cell battery from a watch. It would show around half a volt too
These avenues have been down before. A loooooong time ago. It all comes down to height above grade. Sure, you'll read "voltage" potential differences in electrical charge, but you will never get current to flow. The only "trick" around this is to run an aerial up near high voltage transport lines and capture some of the electromagnetic field in a coil, which can then be directed through a conductor.
I like the idea but im guessing there's going to be electrolytic reactions. Wanna see how this goes
And theres me using solar panels 😂
Love the videos, The tree videos are very interesting
Thank you so much! But most importantly thank you for being here! I appreciate it a ton!
That’s shocking!
How many amps?
You get the same if not more out of a potatoe. Trust me.. I just strung 6 togesther for my autistic Son to power an LED. He fkn loved it. 3.7V.
A potato will rot a die in a week. That tree will keep producing for years. And if you get an entire forest and string them together. Idk seems more practical than replacing wires on potato’s
Youde need apprximatly 2000 trees to produce 1000v DC to be able to invert it to power a house and even then you'd need at least 65amps produced from the trees alone. There's the math for Yas
1kvdc for what? You barely need about 300v with the right inverter topology to produce a single phase. 65 amps is fairly random as well.
Im just concerned with the electrolysis products long term and ground leaching. Cant control much of the besides anode and cathode material. Not sure what byproducts would be since dont know whats in the water table or soil. At least it would take a long time for the electrolysis products to build up at those voltages probably
Woah there, I always thought grapevines produced oranges?!?!
So it is 0.5v of DC coming from a tree. The screw on the tree is a positive? Negative - ground?
I don't think a tree needs a ground, as they're growing out of it.
How much amp tho
What boost converter are you using?
As a young electrician, i love seeing renewable energy innovation, but im very interested in seeing practicality and execution of the project.
Then jump in the fight. Think outside the box, trust your instincts when you feel like there’s a different way to attack a problem. Instead of asking why, ask “why not?”.
All living things are the same.
CFTA
At how many milliamps?
probably a few milliamps, less than a lemon battery and probably even a potato for sure as a tree isnt very acidic and those tiny screws wouldn't be the best electrodes
Excellent! Portability might be an issue.
Nope bc there everywhere
For those of you curious about all of this, last year, I started a project, trying to store electricity from trees and succeeded. I’m currently working on a more efficient way to do this so others can try it too.
Cool project, but I'd it gets too efficient the utility companies will make it illegal. Or they'll just straight up ban trees. 🤣
You're not suicidal right? Just so we know if something happens 😂
Interesting.
I remember somebody tried to do something useful with The electricity produced from lemons. They use a multimeter and get a reading of a half a volt to a volt so they think all I need is 120 lemons to make 120 volts. Because of the inverse square law, they would actually need like 10,000 lemons just to produce 120 volts of potential, but then to get even 1 amp of power at that 120 volts. They would need superconducting wires chilled to liquid helium temperatures and 100,000 lemons. Just to turn a fan. So while your meter can measure it, it's not useful and it doesn't scale. You might be able to power a single LED from it but 100 trees would not be able to power 100 LEDs they were all wired together
@@rustyshakleford5230so 600,000,000 to run a house. Lemon on 🍋

@@ladylamellae 🤣🤣🤣
Well, now I'm invested in setting what you do with this... You get a follow lmao
I appreciate that more than you know! Welcome to the family my friend! 😄
H how’s can you do this
What can you do with this?
Nothing
@@Petesplaceunboxing this sounds very interesting, does it long term harm the tree?
@@TheDailyKnife009 I’m currently working on a way to store the electricity with a modified solar charge controller. I have some past videos where I got it to work but I’m working on a newer method.
Might be able to run a small sensor with a couple big trees set up in series
@@TheDailyKnife009as long as he leaves the screw plugging the wound it should be ok, ideally you'd add some kind of barrier around it (like bonsai cut paste) to reduce the risk of infection even further. If he removes the screws without patching the wound then the trees are open to infection/rot, could be fine could be bad it's really up to luck at that point.
That’s wild stuff.
@@SuspendedInDusk1313 It’s honestly pretty crazy how many things we can get electricity from!
Steps please
