They seemed to work for me. I lived in Mississippi & the flies sucked! But I put them actually in areas that they consistently pooped in. Hope that helps! The horses weren't interested in eating them.

I tried those for 2 years... the birds loved them and recognized the package after the first couple month and laid in wait for when I put them out. They did NOT get a chance to work here

For the head and the face, the water has to come from above or behind, not straight in their face, eyes, ears. Beautiful horsies!❤❤❤❤❤❤

They maybe taking good care of their horses in the hot weather, but aiming the water hose onto their faces and ears is not being kind. You can see that the horses don't like it especially the water in the ear.
