The county maintains it, so bitch to them, and if you are so afraid of runoff then look into remediation and plugging the ditch up so N,P,K. runoff from your farm quits running to the Gulf and contributing to the Dead Zone. I feel so sorry for you. They tried to build one all the way around my house. I was only saved by the grace of God (or at least it has been delayed). I tried to get an attorney but I couldn't even find an attorney to take my case. They won't take a stand because they know they are going to lose or either they've been threatened.

If you haven't already, also contact your county environmental protection office to report what they are doing. Also continue to document - as you have done with this video - along with photographs, of all of the damage and unlawful things they are doing. Also get your local and/or county newspapers involved. The more bad publicity the better. As someone who used to work in the legal profession in Ontario, the key is to document, document, document, document and have good, knowledgeable legal representation.
