Great question! Generally I’m using the 4hr initially when day trading options. Since I trade futures more aggressively I look for my setups on the 5m/15m/1hr time frame (I look for the same setups when trading futures or options, I just do it more on futures) Let me know if this answered your question!

Yes! This is in relation to NY open . It does print in other sessions, I’m just not sure exactly when. The NY model prints between 10am-11:45am eastern on the 5 or 15m time frame. Or between 12:45pm- 2:15pm eastern time

When the setup candle triggers look or short. The stop would be at the bottom of the trigger candle, the risks with this would be; since the candle is still open it may come back at hit your stop. Alternatively, you can use the 50% point of the setup candle (candle before the trigger candle)

Hey Suno! What’s the exact issue you’re having in tradingview?

@@ceruleanmindacademy basically I was following along your video. I have a Tp 1 and Tp2 as well as BREAK even settings just like your video. It worked fine in Tradovate. But I was trying to do it in Trading View and only basic Brackets work Stop Loss and TP. Nothing more advanced.

@suno360 correct, tradingview does not allow for advanced ATM settings only basic ones. You would have to execute the trade on tradovate for the tradovate ATM settings to apply

Great question! Since this is based on price action, it works for any trading instrument. You just have to be very picky on the setups you take

It’s dangerous to mix the two Losing in trading just means that you may not have a a consistent/profitable system which can be improved and refined or you were simply on the wrong side of probably. I myself have losing days or red days and that’s ok. Great question, you can hit the x on the order to cancel it or click on the balance and the button that’s exits and closes all orders

If you are shorting an asset or wanting to make money when something goes down, you would want to hop in on the bearish trend if you miss an earlier entry for a short trade. The entry point is lower than the stop loss because we are going short. The stop will always be above entry if we are short, if we are long a position the stop will always be below

It just shows it on the side where all the numbers are. How can I make it have the lines to indicate where my stop loss and take profit are going to be.. Thank you

@@ceruleanmindacademy I see, is it better then to only took at the bf's of the timeframe you're looking at? Or do you just accept it and look at the bf's for all the timeframes together?

@Rivio811 we draw BF’s from the yearly all the way down to the daily or 4hr. And you look at the BF’s on the timeframe you are looking to take the trade on
