What a classic beauty. Reminds me of my dads '84 Chevy Caprice Classic. I loved that car same V8 engine i believe as this Cadillac. It was a very comfortable highway sedan.

Good looking car. But part of the long era of dark days at GM before bankruptcy.

Very nice job / creation. I had two GT/CS small block coupes when I was younger. (1 a 4 speed) I always wanted to do one of these. But at the time doner convertibles were scarce and out of my budget range. (Especially ones with a 428CJ / 4 Speed 😐) Eventually I sold both of them. Looking at this one causes a mild pang of regret selling them. I dont know why though.. it's not like I can afford a big block 4 speed convertible donor now either. Must be a pang of envy not regret. The one out of place oddity I notice is the hood scoop. I'm no expert but it looks like one that would have only come on a 69 mustang not a 68. Still a sharp ass looking ride and apparantly very nicely done. Love the black on black and subtle custom side stripes. Cant help but wonder what kind of $$ you had to drop on it. Whatever it cost it was probably worth it. If it isnt a one of one tribute its pretty darn close. And likely one of the best out there.
