Welcome to newer homes downtown where a presale studio is about a million. Compared to that, this was a great deal.
Maintenance fee is always cheap in the first year or two. After that, it will easily go up 50 to 100%.
Perhaps a bit of an exaggeration but the general idea is sound. Maintenance fees do go up.
Although the infrastructure is great, you live in a tiny apartment, like a shoes box. For a big person, it is super uncomfortable in my opinion.

Wow! The North Shore has changed so much! I grew up at 5th and Sutherland in the 60’s until I moved to Kits in 1990 and adored it! When I come back over to North Van the development is amazing!! This area was not hip or trendy when I was young! Things progress! Fabulous video!
Lots of change over the years, eh Christine? I grew up on Roslyn Blvd in Dollarton North Van and it still has some of what I grew up with. Can’t wait to see how much further Lynnmour grows up in the years to come. And thanks for the compliment on my video!

Thanks for your comment. There are more affordable options to be had further east in our market. Otherwise, you might consider exploring another province. Southern BC is quite expensive due to a shortage of homes

Hello Anita. The maintenance fees for this home are in the low 300s if I remember correctly per month. This property was sold a few months ago.

Good eye! There is indeed a washroom! Unfortunately at the time of filming, it was full of stuff so we couldn't get in there. It is very spacious though. Come see this weekend at our open house
That master bedroom is smaller than my 485sqft condo's.
The bedroom measures 8'9 x 9'5. If you want it to be bigger, you would change the flex room into a walk in closet and remove the current closet to give more space. How much time do you spend in your bedroom @amoosavi?
@@dualsportdiaries sure, but for 900k I was expecting to be able to walk around comfortably in the bedroom. Looks cramped.
@@amoosavithe space in this unit is apportioned more generously to the kitchen and living areas. If you would like something larger, I have another listing coming soon in a different part of downtown. Not as desirable a location though and the building a a bit older than this one.

The world has gone made! I purchased my first house 292 East 56 ave just off Main Street for exactly $100,000 and it was much nicer then this home was. Same 30x 120 lot seperate 2 car garage and a mortgage suit.

No not really. Homes in Abbotsford are over a million now. Townhouses are even hitting close to a million. The entire Fraser Valley is over priced by 3 to 4 times. Those prices are bleeding into small communities throughout BC. In 100 mile house 1 bedrooms are close to 1,000 a month in rent. 2 bedrooms 1500 to 2000. The whole of BC is unaffordable.
It's tough over here for sure. When I was a kid in the 90s, we had a waterfront hour for like 300K in North Van. I wish my folks didn't sell it and move out of Vancouver in 2000
