So, I made this around eight years ago, back when all the talk was about a new actor replacing Harrison in the role of Indiana Jones. Thankfully this didn't happy and Dial of Destiny comes out later this year but back in 2015 I made this as a sort of 'What if?' Since it's an old vid, please excuse the lame editing and really bad sound.

Emperors Tomb is at this moment in time still the best indiana jones game to date! Hopefully the great circle will be as great if not better
I hope somewhere down the line Lucasfilm remakes: *Fate of Atlantis *Infernal Machine *Emperors Tomb *Staff of Kings (original 6th gen vision) *Even that original Trilogy game that the Collective (devs behind Emperors Tomb) was working on. That right there is a master plan to keep the Indy franchise going through video games. Resurrect and remake carefully the older games with modern day tech and make them 3rd person. After Great Circle if it does well make games based on WW2 recignizing the canon with Mac as his companion and some Cold War era games and bang close the saga out.
Pretty cool! Loved Infernal Machine. Don't think it deserved the hate that it gets. Probably because the N64 port was inferior to the PC version.

Following a pay dispute between Warner Bros. and Miller that delayed early efforts to produce follow-up projects, a prequel, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, is set for release on 24 May 2024, with Miller returning as writer and director.

The gap between Last Crusade and Crystal Skull was way too long and lost time

Having played Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb before watching The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, it always struck me as feeling very similar (though to be fair, both are drawing on common source material in Chinese history and mythology). I love the use of the footage from The Touch and "casting" Michelle Yeoh as Mei Ying.

Why Paramount Pictures? Is Lucasfilm From Walt Disney?
Before Disney bought Lucasfilm, Paramount distributed the Indy films. They must still retain some part of the rights as they're still credited in the Dial of Destiny as well.

Thanks glad you enjoyed the video, though to be fair there are a lot of similarities between my own trailer and the new film. Indy being retired and going out for one last adventure - teaming up with a younger adventurer - flashback sequence - villain returning from the ww2 era. Though a big difference is DoD's flashback has a de-aged Indy as opposed to a recast. Which I think is better as it cements Ford as the only true actor for Indiana Jones.
@@pjgedits74 tbh i dont mean specifically this concept trailer i mean all of yours in general are good. everything from the music to the posters are terribly off in the new movie
@@pjgedits74 100% Agree with Ford being the only person who can truly play the character of Indy, the thought of re-casting the character never, and never will sit right with me. I am happy to know that the DoD will be the last movie in the franchise, as you said cementing Ford as the only true actor who can play, personally, my favourite character in media history. Ford structured and built him, giving him his own personal unique flare, which I really don't think any other actor can pull off.
