I remember being in some competitions with most of those the Jazz Bands best years I really enjoyed it the Jazz Band I was in at the time was the Treherbert Navel Officers.

Me and my 3 sisters were in the Gateshead legioners . HAPPY DAYS 😊😊😊

One of the few towns that still have a carnival/ Gala in July. All the floats were usually local businesses, such as Black n Decker, Rothmans, Thorn EMI and others....all gone now, but nevertheless great memories .

I'm the granddaughter of Norman & Lilly (Holt) Peacock (Laburnum Rd I think it was) My parents took me to Canada when I was 6 and the last time I saw Doggey was 1972. Anyone know my family?

My mam has seen this and would like to say thank you. She was part of the royal George jazz band. Along with her brother and sisters her mam and dad are also seen in the video and its brought back fond memories.
