Somewhere around one hour into this talk, he is talking about concept five and shares an example of an opportunity where the minority was heard, and that two gentlemen stood up and delivered a message, so powerful that the unanimous vote completely swung the other direction. This was in regard to the area, making a contribution to GSO if I’m not mistaken, I sure would like to know what those powerful statements were!

excellent - IN SHORT HE SAYING God gave us the steps to distract us while he CHANGES US ! need more like Peter keeping the message in tact - not watered down versions being spread around the rooms ! by people making all these excuses for not working ( THIS ) MESSAGE ! not messages ! 1st 100 were all on the same page ! progress not perfection is those who are actively working the steps on daily basis 10.11,12 daily NOT simply going to meetings ,not drinking - can't enter GOD'S kingdom until i'm done running around chasing this one !

I'm reminded of Dr. Bob's last word's: Don't louse it up... Some people just aren't happy being simple workers, they want prestigious recovery, lol. It's truly typical how drunks can be laying in the gutter dieing and still look down on other people. I'm reminded of a sponsors word's: That from here on out, if you ever complain about anything as your life goes forward. Your most likely going to be wrong, because if anyone has anything to do with you, you should consider your self lucky after all the crap you did to others over the years. God Bless The AA Fellowship and them Drunks that came before us and showed us the way out.

I have been sober 38.5 years and Mickey has taught me a lot. I was fortunate to have sponsors that taught me most of what he teaches but it was just serendipity and spread out over a lot of time. Thanks Mickey for helping me and countless others!

Excellent...love his story.. So many passed it on before passing sober thanks to our recovery program... I learn a lot from hearing their stories...And all the thanks needs to go to God because we rather God take our glory so we can pass it on..Without God we're nothing the old timers in recovery always tells us this....
