You can definitely notice a difference in philosophy between Dragon Ball + Z and Super. The former makes food as non-descript as possible. I see Goku eating things like cheese which are pretty rare in Japan. Super very much goes out of its way to show recognizable food. I also wouldn't be surprised if they are paid by the instant ramen industry to make commercials.
