@bjsperformance5414 What manifold would you recommend for a 550 reed. I've got a pjs pipe and exhaust manifold. I'm looking for reliable Starts and better bottom end.

Hard to say. Some times they are $100. Somtimes there $500. All used parts
What control box are you using? And what coil? I've done a ton of conversions like this on other toys just not a 550

what’s the orbital sander your using for sanding the fillers ?
It’s a 6” snap on body shop air orbital sander. But by all means you could go to Harbor freight and buy the same thing for a fraction of the price if you’re not going to use it in daily activities.
What does Silicone spray do for the engine bay? I always took the hood completely off amd set it across the tray and now my blaster I just pop the hood up on it. The only issue I see is there is always danm hard water spots from the fresh lake water but that's it. Does the silicone spray prevent that?
SC1 is probably one of my most favorite silicone sprays. Don’t get me wrong. I will always take my hood completely off after a days worth of riding. After that is when I will use SC1 and use this part for long term storage.

I got into stand up about a year and im hooked. Jumped in big with a 18 SXR. I fully modified it. Point is, someone told me in our SXR group that 2 strokes are dead when I told him i'm starting to get interested in them. I must say fuck that shit, this beast here is a prime example of how cool they look and SOUND! hoo-yaa I do want to ask what kind of motor is under that hood and whats done to it?
It’s a Kawasaki 550 motor with some bolt ons.
Im getting into 2 strokes too, bought a 550sx, 98 waverunner 1200 and a x2 all this summer 😅
