DVD wont play. Blank DVDs not recognized. Cannot play disc.
Here's a simple fix for DVD players and Recorders not recognizing your store bought, or blank DVDs.
There is nothing more frustrating than buying a 50-pack of blank DVDs and to have your player tell you the discs are not recognizable. Or not being able to play your favorite movie you’ve had for years.
I do a lot of video recording on DVD discs, and I must have thrown away at least 50 brand new blank discs thinking it was the fault of the disc manufacturer.
And using a lens-cleaning disc seems to help for maybe a disc or two - then the issue would start all over again.
As it turns out, it’s not the discs. It’s your player.
In 2007 I bought 3 of these Sony DVD Recorders - Refurbished from Sony. And, all at once they each failed to read discs. At first, I assumed they were programed to somehow stop reading in the year 2020. Well, that didn’t make any sense.
Fortunately, I discovered the problem, thus the solution…
If your DVD Player / Recorder has a few years on it, chances are, the grease on the lens-head glide rods has dried up and is causing the lens-head to stick when it first reads the disc. If the head cant glide across the disc to read its format, then all bets are off when it comes to playing or recording.
Grease is a homogenized concoction of oil and soap. And once the grease has dried and pushed off to the ends of the glides, the head cant travel smoothly enough to read the tracks.
Most DVD Player / Recorder manufacturers use white lithium or silicon grease on the glides. I advised using a silicon oil as the grease will eventually wear away again. The oil will saturate the glide rod journals and hold longer and revitalize any surviving grease.
I will show you how to General Service this recorder as it was the most sophisticated player of its time. Your player is probably much simpler and will be easier to service.

The Russian astronomer, Nicholas Kozyrev did experiments on the speed of time by measuring how long it took for cause to manifest into effect. In experiments with gyroscopes, it was determined that the speed of time was the speed of light divided by 137! Interestingly 1/137 is the fine structure constant, a. So the speed of time equals ac.

How small fishes with small fins and Stingrays without any wings lift up and move in air. This is ' Inertia Drive ' already happening in nature. Hence there is scope for humans to mimic nature.

  • @kantanoexil

@12:00 minutes - that is simply NOT true! A "carriage" in space always swings in the opposite direction even with counter rotating rotors - and that's an emperical fact! the only time it seems like it doesn't is when it is being confined by springs within another frame (of reference). but the entire frame does again swing in the opposite direction! The dean drive may have started out as an honest attempt to revolutionize propulsion, but it ended up becoming a scam when Dean tried to hide that his whole idea was based on a fallacy...

Fake ! You have friction on the rails. Put this aperature to the ISS, in space and you will not see any movement, in any direction.

  • @russesse1
    @russesse1 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

I believe the movement is due to moment of inertia . No one has demonstrated any apparatus that violates conservation of momentum. you can sit in a cardboard box on a slippery floor and throw you arms forward and then slowly pull them back. hey your moving backwards using the same physics that is demonstrated in this video..

patents only last 20 years. It's not a reasonable excuse for why these have never been exploited. Everything I've read on the topic points to Dean being overly demanding in his interactions with interested parties. EG demanding pre-payment and a Nobel prize for a demonstration of principle? His designs, what can be gleaned from patents and other sources, all rely on reference to a fixed body like the planet Earth. In free space they would just consume energy with no net inertial displacement. Nothing shown here disproves that, it only proves that you can measure things. You would achieve similar results placing sensors on an internal combustion engine. However the ICE displaces a rotating shaft which can apply torque to work.

Thank you sir, fantastic video, first I've seen to provide data! absolutely excellent. This is what real science is all about! I never thought about inertial lag before and I really want to see if I can capture the event myself and see what data I can collect. Also those are a lot of parameters to adjust, have you tried sampling all of the timing values for one adjustment and all the samples for another? you might be able to graph the effect so it becomes clear what happens for the different adjustments and the space they form. sounds tedious but it would be interesting.

Nice work! I have an old Magnavox MWD7006 DVD Player that wouldn't read any disk. Cleaning, massaging and oiling the Laser Guide Mechanism did the trick. 👍 The laser guide was bound up pretty good prior to. Inside was pretty clean. I expected pet hair and a lot of dust but was surprised at how clean it was. Maybe it had seized up from a period of non use.

It doesn't defy physics in the least bit. It works by increasing force in one direction that over comes inertia then uses a slower rate to return in the opposite direction so that it doesn't over come inertia in that direction.

even when we have clear data that shows they do, by the way instead of using a mass that is being move by a motor you could use a liquid, that way it would do less noise, like you could use a ferromagnetic fluid like for example mercury

I've been actively developing an inertial propulsion drive going on 4 years now since 4/2019 and I have already succeeded in achieving vertical lift against gravity in 9/2020. The vertical lift is pulsed and intermittent though. I've since been working on the holy grail of achieving sustained lift against gravity which is theoretically possible.
