It staggers me (still) that a guy who left school at age 15 with no formal educational qualifications has come this far! Initially, I intended to only post the last two cliffhanger episodes, 7 and 8, (see SOTC semi final and SOTC final) but I've now been persuaded to air the lot. This episode was broadcast on 7th July, 1999. I still have Ann's 1963 Mini that she bought brand new at age 19 - but...

The point of no return! But the fun factor is outweighing the pitfalls, so it's carry on regardless. Sadly, my beloved Ann passed away unexpectedly in 2009 after 47 years together, however she enjoyed her necklace for 10 years. This episode broadcast on 6th July, 1999.

After a couple of days' rest, I'm back for a new week and the fourth episode broadcast on 5th July, 1999. My resolve to continue is further inspired by the sight of this week's car prize!
