Applied Bonsai
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 25 ก.ย. 2012
Hi, and a warm welcome to Applied bonsai. This is my journey in the world of bonsai which I have been doing for about 4 years now. As I document my progress into the future years I hope to share my progress.
My bonsai material is still very young for the most part but I will enjoy sharing it with you 😊.
USDA zone 9b (although I live in the south of Ireland this wouldn't be exact it can change from year to year but it's close enough 😏)
Happy Bonsai.

Pre Bonsai (Why you SHOULD put them in the ground)
มุมมอง 94หลายเดือนก่อน
If you are new to bonsai and have some pre bonsai then you should consider growing them in the ground for a few years. In this video I go through why I am doing just that 🙂 Happy Bonsai.
Great job. Can't believe the amount of roots grown in 2 weeks. Will be interesting to see how fast the roots grow on the buxus
Thanks Chris, ya it's crazy how quick they grew. It will be interesting to see if they send out some roots before the month is out.
The ficus will grow super fast Eric.
Thanks tree styler, it has taken off since I put it in the grow tent. Hope you have a good growing year.
Thanks Chris, ya some are growing very well.
Nice job Eric. Few growing super strong.

@@chrismarshall8321 Of course it was your idea I robbed so I had to give you the mention 😂 thanks Chris.
All looking good and healthy Eric. Look forward to seeing you working on them . Good job 👍
@@chrismarshall8321 Thanks Chris.
Always a good idea to plant your young bonsai tree into the ground for max growth and thickening of the trunk I plant my trees in the ground but plant them on top of old ceramic floor tiles this way the root spread is horizontal easier to dig out plus all root growth is ideal for bonsai 👍
@@pauletheridge7594 Agree Paul, the tiles idea is a good one 👍
@ I have been doing that for a few years try it promise it’s a game changer for great root development 👍
@@pauletheridge7594 I will definitely try it the next time I prune the roots 👍
Nice video, very helpful!
Loving the intro theme.
@@Miketastic1990 Thanks Mike, hope your well.

@@chrismarshall8321 Thanks Chris appreciate it 😊
