I have an apache 2800 case on an amazon rack. I bought some rubber lined p clamps at HF along with fender washers top and bottom of case bottom and it looks really clean if you want to try different mounting hardware.

Well done..so you never cleaned the oil pump screen??? I use a magnetic oil pan screw, it collects the tiny metal fragments. Works wonderful.

This is a dream trip! I’m falling in love with the Monkey and have never been on one. I drove a 1983 Honda cb450 and love the small Honda engines. Great ride!

I ride my Monkey in the winter, after every ride I spray it off with a lot of clear water to get the salt off, apart from one little bit of rust on the brake disc she is fine, obviously I see to it that she gets a proper wash when I have time, that happens 2-3 times a month. I like how you have set up your bike, I live in Germany so I have to keep mine more or less original. Keep up the good work.

Exactly what I needed to watch tonight, beautiful journey film. I went to Sturgis and it's just not for me. But who cares? If you ride as a way of life, you gotta experience it at least once. But I applaud those who stray from the beaten path and try something different, something that makes sense... to them! KUDOS to you.

You should ride a Kawasaki Vulcan 900 classic just to try it out. They have fairly big tires and enough power for the highway
