Can you make a rug with this type of fabric twine?
HI Terry - Yes! There are several ways you can make a rug with fabric twine. One way is to make three long strips, braid them, and sew the braids around flat in a circle. Start at the center and wrap the braid, sewing as you go keeping the rug flat. It would be similar to making the Jelly Roll Rug, as seen here: createwhimsy.com/projects/how-to-make-a-jelly-roll-rug/ Another way is not to braid the twine first, but just begin sewing the twine into a round. Have fun!

what size is the squares
You can use any size gingham. This happens to be 1/8-inch gingham squares.
