What happens if my hair repels water and it takes a while for me to get it completely soaked and it dries within two hours like super fast for my super thick long hair
how do you make your waves last? 🥲 i don't want to refresh everyday. my waves look great right after i style but then start becoming limp a few hours later.
My hair used to be brittle and wouldn’t grow. I started using head and shoulders with my hair shoulder length and now, after only 2 years, it’s thick AF and past my butt. I’m 30 yrs old.
My hair would be just like this if I had the time to diffuse it It makes me sad every time I see other people with my hair type doing so well I know your hair takes a long time to dry like mine, any tips?

I just subscribed because my hair is almost exactly like yours! And for the life of me i couldn't understand what to do with it. My mother has curly hair, but ofcourse being an Indian woman who grew up in the 90s, she thought she just had frizzy hair, straightened it out, and completely damaged her beautiful curl pattern. My dad on the other hand has pin straight hair, and I am something in the middle. Some of my hair turns out completely curly, some pin straight, and majority wavy. God, finding you was a life saver!
I just double cleanse with baby shampoo. 1st wash focuses on the scalp and then just lathering down to the rest of my hair. Rinse. Then 2nd round, wash from scalp to tip. Rinse. Then get my paraben-free hair conditioner, spread on my hair. Squish, squish, for better absorption. And then detangle. Squish some more WHILE rinsing. Towel dry. Go on with the rest of my after hair wash routine.
I’m beginning to think I have low porosity hair. Every time I use leave in conditioners my hair becomes an oily ball. If I use lighter products my hair is more manageable. I think I’ll give those two products a try.
Do you have any tips on diffusing? My hair always takes forever to diffuse, and by the time I'm done my curls have dropped. Is there any way I can fix that?im so annoyed with my hair being super pretty and curly when wet and then dropping to very light waves when it dries
I would also implore especially fine haired wavies to clarify regularly, even every wash if need be! Another tip: use your regular conditioner like a hair mask or deep conditioner and leave it in at least 5 minutes before rinsing.
Omg omg ong I LOVE U SOOO MUCH TYSMMM GURLLLYYY POP UR THE BEST.. I always wondered why my hair didnt look like others and now after checking out your videos i finally understood my type of hair caree... I LOVE U GIRL H❤❤
This is exactly what I have these waves but the whole point is I've hated my hair like that but started loving what I have , can you please tell low porosity wavy hair products that are available in india

omg low porosity hair? 8+ hours to dry? who called for me. bro my parents wash theirs at like 9:30-10:00 pm and then go to bed right after and its dry, while I’m over there washing it at like 3:00pm and at 11:00 its still wet
PLEASEEE make a tutorial, i cant afind any tutorials that dont make super slick and defined curls, i dont want that i just want these defined but still fluffy curls.
I actually figured something out recently - right before taking a shower, I actually put a ton of conditioner in my hair BEFORE getting it wet. It worked super well, I combed my fingers through my hair gently for a little bit, and then for the really bad knots, I grab them and like, pull the hair apart so that the knot becomes bigger? I don’t know how to describe it. It doesn’t pull on my hair in any sort of way, just spreads the knot so I can gently tease it out with my fingers; usually I just tease the knot enough that it becomes 2-3 smaller knots, and then I use a brush on it. I don’t know if this would work for you, but I have extremely coily hair and it works really well for me.
And then there's my hair which immediately soaks up water like a sponge and then can take 6 hours to air dry and then frizzes up because I didnt use heat to dry it, because fine hair is annoying.
You want low porosity hair!!! It means it’s healthy, the cuticle isn’t blown wide open from chemicals or heat, and it’s not going to break off randomly.
Hi. I took a look at your photo and if I see correctly, you have thinned hair, which makes the hair closer to your face shorter and therefore wavy more, while the hair at the back is longer and heavier, which makes it straighter. This is just speculation based on the photo.
@heterochromiaeyes yes your right but I also had my hair straightened that day and so if you want to look at my other videos or pictures to try and tell me more please do!

My bf just asked me earlier why I put my hair on the wall. When it's long it's just clingy 😭😩
Because we don’t want to clog the drain. Where else would we put it lol

Can you recommend a few products
You are gorgeous@
You shouldn't have to use a diffuser for natural hair and not everyone can afford that.
😂

Any specific products/brands? This matches my hair perfectly, and it takes my hair 9-10 hours to dry fully.
And then there's my hair which immediately soaks up water like a sponge and then can take 6 hours to air dry and then frizzes up because I didnt use heat to dry it, because fine hair is annoying.
Well… I think I just learned I probably have wavy hair 🤷♀️
It takes my some of my hair 3 or 4 hours to dry and then there’s parts of my hair that dry faster, it’s to know when to brush my hair 😭

Is it possible to have low porosity level with straight hair?
im pretty sure straight hair is usually low porosity
I do that but for some reason the front of my hair gets really wavy but the back is almost fully straight do you know why that might be?
