I been looking for this kinda video for 4 years! I have bought a shit-ton of his stuff for Gaslands, but I wanted ruins for Battletech. 6mm is the scale! TY Mr Monkey! I just wanted to see what and how they looked before I bought them!

I am planning on putting together a WW2 British and German June 1944 force mix, using a figure game conversion of a SPI boardgame. The company i was looking at Pendraken and i must admit the ASFV figures look nice. I have a 10mm ACW USA and CSA force mix from Pendraken which i was happy with, so my next project is WW2.

Those boxes are designed to go through the standard british letter box

This might be the ONLY MechaForce tabletop game content on TH-cam. I'm a big BattleTech player, and been playing a lot of their rules lite version Alpha Strike lately. I also own the MechaForce game (8 page PDF for $2 as you said). I would say that MechaForce looks like a lot of fun, and a could fit between Alpha Strike, which is a very VERY generic game, but on purpose to have large scale. However, BattleTech is super crunchy and complex. MechaForce might fill in the middle.

Definitely keep your kids away from that dog lol. I agree though. I really like the sculpts and they printed really nice, but the scale does all seem off to me too.

How bendy is the material they're made from... or how brittle? I don't care for bendy figures, so I stay away from the Reaper Bones stuff... but a lot of these OPR sculpts look cool.

You always find cool stuff. That's not a bad deal especially for the price. Nothing wrong with terrain that's easy to store either lol.

I'm waiting for my set to arrive. I'm particularly interested in the buildings, counters and reference cards, so I think I'll be happy. The roads are a bit underwhelming and I like your suggestion of a set of five. The two 'rivers' will work well enough for me as ponds. I put foam core inside of the Alpha Strike Box Set buildings and love how solid that makes them. If it had just been a set of 15 buildings for $25 I would probably been ok with that, the rest is just gravy. Would have been more happy if there had been some new designs though.

Tried removing the wheels and unnecessary stuff from a toy like that drop ship? Would be nice to make one lighter.

My gaming group are just getting into OPR. Love what we are saying this far. Been playing 40k for over 20 years now and it’s just too much these days. Both monetarily and temporally. OPR is perfect. More content please.

there's a lot to love with P28. sufficient attributes to create characters you can become invested in. You must have the expansions! You just cannot stick with armour as it is, otherwise it gets silly with no risk or suspense, like taking the kids for a game of laserquest! I "lower" the die types, D8 becoming D6, etc., and ensure skill levels are on the higher side.

Nice looking game. I'm ignorant of Battletech... does Alpha Strike include rules for vehicles and troops? Or just the big mechs? I'm more of an Epic player, but looking for alternatives.

Okay is the d12 an advanced rule or a house rule I am interested in giving it ago.
