I've been listening to Carly sing this since it came out, what, 52? years ago? This is the first cover I've ever heard and it's brilliant :) Everything is in it, and it feels just right. I like the artistic flavour you put on the melody, it's subtle and creative and entirely enjoyable to this 'Boomer'.

Recognizing the quality of your cover, may I recommend to have a look at the Canadian cover band „walk off the earth“ and at Lanie Gardner (though she seems to be a bit in love with herself). Both could be an additional inspiration for you.
