Freakimg happened to me at the oregon coast it started returning home but i put it 4ft short of the talled thing around and crashed into bushes no damage to the drone

DJI is the best, i always trust that it will come back with no damage if i lost signal, great video

If it was a other brand the reciever signal wouldn't fail if the video signal is lost ;)
@@nielsB_FPV First of all: there is no better Drone Brand than DJI and second, the receiver signal is working even without video signal, it’s just a safety Feature, because you can’t see the Drone ;) Other drones would crash if they don’t have this Feature

@@Captainslow.38 Sorry, DJI O3 air unit is the video module used in FPV drones for nice visuals without flying a DJI drone. It’s virtually identical to the Avata video system.. but the Avata has weaker antenna so losing video is a bit more common. Overall, DJI is considered to have the best penetration and range out of the digital systems available, so it’s perfect for diving.

Yeah happened to me too but it wasn't that far, I suspect someone jammed it \: What model are you using, where is this beautiful scenery? EDIT: also, what were the distances? I had mine at about 50m height, 100m away from me.
I'm using dji fpv, not sure about the distance, but was in line of sight, but i was sitting in my car dont know that's the reason loosing signal. Flying in norway 😊
What does it mean by "return home"?
It will return autonomically to where it started.
When it loses signal it will hover in place, and after 1 minute of no signal it will start to Return to Home, which is flying home at current altitude or the set RTH altitude, whichever is higher
this is my biggest Nightmare
Yeah, for sure, thought i lost it. After one minute i take of googles, try to see where in the mountain i crashed. Suddenly i heard returning home. Took on the googles, and finally the pulse went down 😅
