Glad and surprised to see the use of I Ching. I've been using the IChing since 1991. I love it because it does explain societal situations that affect us, besides guidance for our personal growth. Otherwise we tend to unnecessarily blame ourselves. Over the past two years, I've groaned to see Hexagram 18 again. Mostly I have applied it to organizations I've worked at, truly having to come in and solve problems. Also learned my birth hexagram is 18, so I've had to do a lot of emotional growth and spiritual transformation for myself and my family throughout my adult life. Before elections, I always do an IChing to get guidance on who to vote for. Most of Biden's predictions came true and I wrote a book about it. I didn't bother to do an IChing this time. Wished I had, to know the overall situation. Hexagram 57, I got for this summer. Combined with your interpretation, I see it as a quiet internal revolution, as people are "quiet quitting" unable to put up with unreasonable demands and stressors on their bodies and minds of working long hours for low wages, yet can't have basic necessities. Plus since 2020 COVID shutdowns people have pondered what's more important-- loved ones over material gain, preciousness of life and taking time to live it according to our divine spiritual callings. Add to this the hurricanes, floods, forest fires, civil unrest and cruelty of wars to remind us that life is short, and we question our current societies stubbornness.
