Building a FireFit Firefighter Combat Challenge Tower from Scratch **NOT RECOMMENDED**
It took a sickening (literally) amount of hard work, evenings and weekends, hundreds (maybe thousands) of feet of used Schedule-40 boiler tube, miles of welding wire, several cylinders of argon gas, four gallons of rust paint and stacks of cutting wheels and sanding disks but Big Red is finally standing and ready to run. Boy! does it ever feel good! If we had had any idea how big a project this was we would never have begun but we did and we done! If we had bought this it would have cost us around $50,000. Huge thanks to my extremely tolerant wife and team bearing with our shenanigans.

Some of the best footage I have seen. Hardly anything covers the descent. Have you got anything showing the descent down to the coulior? How easy/hard was it? Thanks for posting!
Nice video, but Gran Paradiso is not the highest mountain in Italy, it is the fourth highest.
true, the highest is Piramide Vincent (4215 m n.p.m.)
its the highest mountain entirely in Italy! - for example Mont Blanc Summit is in France not Italy although part of the mountain is also Italy - but it doesnt really matter anyway who cares which country its in

Thanks, and you're right. But Mont Blanc is the highest peak in the alps and anywhere Europe except Russia. At the moment travelling to Russia isn't an option for many people.

Thanks, and good luck! We used a GoPro 10. Had all intentions of filming more but all that went out the window during our summit push. Our guide was in high gear and we were in survival mode :P

Congratulations guys! Good job & Nice video! I did solo on July 13, 2022. It was a fun hike! From Nid d'Aigle 2372 m to Mont Blanc summit 4808 m and back to Chamonix. In the future, I'd like to hike from Les Houches to the summit and back to Les Houches.😀

Yes. We booked through a guide... Chamonix Experience (chamex.com). They were excellent. Our guide had climbed Mont Blanc over 100 times.
