M.2 SSD(M.2 Type)
Is that an M.2 drive you installed? do you possibly have an Amazon link for whatever drive you installed?
soundtrack of the imbeciles.
Wasted my time watching this video.
Thanks!
I have a ideapad 100s I need to replace the hard drive can anyone show me how to do that in english.and step. by step
Hey man thanks for the video but i did exact same steps for fan cleaning and in the end laptop turns on, fan works, lights lids but no display on the screen. I checked hdd in the place, rams looks and fits fine, I opened it again but i didnt find any loose or disconnected cable or any piece. Have you any idea what might went wrong for no display problem?
if the laptop's cooler was dirty and was overheated for long time, then may be the a second chip (not cpu) was on the verge of a problem. So when you disassemble it, the damage was caused by the minimum pressure on the motherboard when unscrewing. This is a scenario. Try to disconnect the display flex, check both connectors and reconnect it to the motherboard. Also try with one memory placed in different slots. You may remove the battery, the power supply and the raund battery inside the laptop, wait about a minute and replace it again and try to power on. Ιf the first scenario applies, then things are not good. To diagnose this scenario, you can apply some pressure on the chip with your hand and turn the laptop on. If the display is ok, then this is it.
@@computerrepairservice2654 thank you for the quick response🙏🙏 i tried a lot of things i replaced cmos battery, drained excess power, cleaned motherboard with alcohol finally recieved image when i hooked up an external monitor. All laptop functions works perfectly except for its internal display. Lcd light comes but screen remains black no bios no windows can i try anything for this problem? Thank you so much again 🙏
that's probably the first thing i said. This is the partially graphics chip problem (working external monitor, but not internal), caused by the overheating. You can, AT YOUR OWN RISK, heat the vga chip with a heat gun at ~300-340C degrees for about 15-20 seconds and 6-7 cm gun distance over the chip. Before you do it, you will remove ram and cpu. After let it cool, replace the ram and cpu and try to power on. ATTENTION!: after that procedure the display may work again, but for absolutely unknown time. ALSO, your motherboard MAY BE TOTALLY DESTROYED. If you do it, you take all the responsibility for the result!
@@computerrepairservice2654 thanks for the detailed response each time appericiated🙏 I dont have equipmant for the reflow and frankly i dont have guts and talent for this procedure. I will go to a professional after this point. But thanks again for the video and responses 🙏 Not my first rodeo though. I butchered my other laptop for fan cleaning before so its time for me to let go poor laptops😄
does and buddy know what power port goes to hi9 plus
[GOOD TIP] 6:08 For better cleaning the radiator fins where dust piled at the fanning end you have to use soapy water dipped tooth brush and carefully clean those fin holes after vacuuming and removing big bust piles on the fins. Then use moist brushing second third times to remove the soapy moisture out fins with careful brushing, you will see a lot of dirt on the brush. Because micro dust particles settled on the fin surfaces and soapy water brushing after vacuuming will do 2nd stage better cleaning of fins so next time the dust wont settle inside the fins so frequently.
Obrigado ajudou muito.

please can you tell me name of pest you putting in top in Processor ??
This video showed how you open the laptop, but you did it in very amateur and kinda clumsy way. You did it in kinda hard way, can done better, easier and safer. It seems you didn't have much experience in disassembly laptops. BTW you forgot to connect power connector on motherboard, but YOU didn't show it in video (noticed time skip in video) which makes this video BAD for newbies. They will miss the power connector. And if you have no silver paste in house, you don't need remove whole cooling block. Remove only tape around fan end is enough to clean it. Overall, this video is not good example. Downvote. (and yes i did it exact same with laptop here and noticed small mistake in your video with "skipping" power connector) Though this video is old from 2015. I am sure you learned now more about laptops, but this "bad" video is still here.
First of all, i am professional and not amateur and I've disassembled thousends of laptops. Secondly, maybe you should watch the videos more carefully, because, I don't forget anything neither skip in the video exists. On 27.45 I reconnect the power jack connector and on 20.30 the power button flex is reconnected too. Also, the thermal paste is applyed on 16.15 and I inform you that there is not only silver paste on the market. Also I've no benefit from these video's, so I really don't care about your downvote! Finally, If you can do this with less "hard way" and "easier and safer", make your own video and let us comment it. Have a nice day!
@@computerrepairservice2654 I am indeed too fast with power connector, it's accessible from back. The keyboard cable can done more easier and safer. If you did indeed a lot laptops, why did you not know you can perfect fine lay down keyboard and connect the keyboard flatcable? How come you didn't it in this video two times, by disassembly and assembly? You are trying keep keyboard up with one hand, makes it looks not very nice and can have some risk you can bend or damage the cable. I guess this is first time you disassembled this type laptop. Then i can understand it a bit. Every laptop is different in assembly. I know from some laptops i have here, you can almost flip over keyboard and lay down (upside down) and disconnect or connect flatcable without much problems. There are more videos for same type laptops, and others did the right way. The silver paste change itself is correct. I only pointed out not every user here has silver paste in home and want only clean the fan. They can skip remove cooling piece and only remove the tape to access the cooling fins.
Dear Sir I want to ask abt. Laptop toshiba L855. Chipset intel Hm7670 Gpu hd4000. When i tested it use cpu i5 2450m (my old cpu from laptop toshiba l850 which chipset SLJ8E) only adapter led and power on led are shining, no blower fan running, blank screen, this case same like my old motherboard L850 only 2 leds are on. Now i want to ask you the motherboard is broken or my old cpu i5 2450m is broken or cpu i5 is not support to motherboard which seller said must use cpu i5 Gen.3. Pls be inform what cpu i5 support since your video show toshiba L855. Fyi: i have checked my old motherboard chipset and other same with motherboard i bought online. I'm afraid when i buy cpu i5 Gen.3, the problem is broken motherboard. So i want to make sure it. Waiting your reply soon.Thank you
i dont know why you want to place the cpu from your old lsptop on to the L855 laptop, but if,as you wrote, the L855 support 3 gen i5, then it must be incompatible to the 2450 cpu, which is 2 gen. Generally, the cpu is not broken so often. Also, may be your old laptop's M/B is faulty.
Thank you for your quick reply. I have told by technician that my old M/B L850 is broken so i bought new one which sent old M/B photo, spec and cpu photo. Now make me confuse on the casing put label cpu use i5 2450m. And i checked chipset SLJ8E, which same spec. And chipset with l855. At that time i think l850 used chipset Hm65 but after checked the chipser Hm76. The problem for me if i buy new chipset i5 3340m or 3360m. I'm afraid the M/B is broken for L855. Can you inform if the cpu i5 does not support to M/B, we can look only adaptor led and power led are on, no blowing fan, blank screen. It is i want to make sure before buy new cpu i5 3 Gen. Thank you
this fan can apart ?
Thanks bro
Hello, I've tried just about everything... I replaced the fan&Heatsink in a Dell 17-5767 Now the Fan is running wide open all the time... error message saying fan not responding correctly...In the bios the the fan isn't showing the RPM's...Any ideals? I've tried about everything...unplugged battery for 30 sec held power button for 30 second's...unplugged the small 2032 battery for 10 mins... Did the thermal paste over..unplugged the fan and plugged back up...reset the laptop...tried a old bios firmware...tried my old fan which still works,BUT IT ALSO runs at highest rpms now... Trying to think of everything I've tried...Did the new fan do some kind of hardware change???? Any way gonna order another fan and try that,I guess Thanks
check the connection wires of the fan. may be some wire has'nt connection (e.g. wich is responsable for RPM). Also check if the heatsink applies well on all the chips. it's difficult to see, but try. you can apply the thermal paste, place and screw the heatsink, and then remove it again and see if the thermal paste was pressed correctly on all the surface of the chip.
@@computerrepairservice2654 Thanks Tried it all just about I may have damaged the motherboard someway...
@@computerrepairservice2654 Hey Buddy that's what it was...The fan plug on the motherboard had a prong/pin for the blue wire broke,And luckily,I was able to solder the blue wire to the broke prong/pin....Doesn't look the best,But got it working...Thanks for trying to help..Take Care
Sir, if you don't mind, which kind of mat are you using to place the motherboard on?
do you mean the rose mat? it's from a new motherboard packing
Thank you very much. I want to clean my laptop but can't find an ESD mat locally. I think I'll just use the rose mat.
thanks man, as a programmer the video helped me a lot to fix a family's computer
Question: was this work done because of the symptom where the tablet stopped charging? From the comments/questions on this post, I'm just wondering if this seems to be a common experienced issue. I have a Chuwi Surbook that is having this "no longer charging problem.
I scrolled down SO MUCH TO FIND THIS (thx)
Thanks. I have one of these. It's kind of old now but barely used until recently. It's overheating and closing down. I am not knowledgeable about computers but this video clip helped me deal with it. Thanks again
Great video, thanks, you have a new subscriber , please my same laptop screen black, no normal working noise at hard desk, power on, dvd drive startup normal noise, switched new ddr3, didnt work, any ideas? Yet the fan get so hot after only 5 min.
that m.2 unit is sata?
Lods meron ba kayu board ng lenovo ideapad 100?
What is the exact model of this Lenovo 100S? I have a Lenovo 100S-11IBY at home, and I plan to upgrade it to M.2 ssd storage as well, but I dont know if this has an upgrade path. Can you help me, does my 100S have M.2 slot inside?
I don't remember the exact model, but may be it is in some my older reply. I think that all the 100S models would have the M2 slot. It is not so difficult to open your laptop and see.
CAN I ASK SOME THING ! IN THIS VIDEO CAN I HAVE YOUR EMAIL? I ASK ABOUT MOTHERBOARD SONY VAIO E SERIES MODEL TYPE SVE14122CVB!

I want to upgrade ram for lenovo 100 s 14ibr, I wonder how many ram can I do?.And which brand do you recommend (now 2 GB RAM in original state)
As i see on several sites, your model is not upgradable. The max supported ram is 2 GB
@@computerrepairservice2654 oh ok ty for answer
Could you please show me where to get the hard drive to buy for my laptop.
is it possible to upgrade the ram of lenovo ideapad 100s-14ibr?
As I see on the Lenovo's site, it supports max 4 GB DDR3L.
Laptop updated to Windows 10, but Bluetooth was not found. What's the solution?
May be deactivated. Look at the right-bootom corner in the notifications area. The bluetooth tab must be blue. Or you can download and install drivers from the Dell's website
Same issue here, no drivers on dell's website, only with external module I could use bluetooth
I have 6 small screws in my hand after all work, thank you very much for this fortune 🙏
what m.2 did you use? specific model please
Kingston M.2 Sata 3 SSD 120GB
Good info, but suggest skipping the unscrewing scene... or fast forward.
Fucking your PC ???? 😂😂😂
Bit late to this... What has the M.2 slot? 100S-14IBR-yes 11IBY-no Any others?
hi, where i can buy usb type c charger port for a chuwi hi9 pro tablet?
