I'm not saying you're wrong about that being fair. But I think there are enough desperate teams in need of a QB and someone will overpay and give the Bears a first round pick.

Seems like every sports radio analyst has now talked themselves out of a spot for Justin. Nobody wants him or needs him. Bears should keep him two more years, and let him develop further, while stocking first round picks for 2026 draft which will have several notable QB prospects. Supposedly Steelers, falcons, and raiders have other QBs in mind. Either that or these teams are blowing smoke and downplaying interest in Justin.

I truly in my heart believe Justin gets traded and that the bears land a 1st round pick for him. Maybe not this draft but then probably next year

@@BearsFansTalk I feel like the media, especially Biggs is brainwashing folks into giving up on Justin Fields, and trading him for the next shiney new toy. Justin is a much better QB than stats show, as his o line was literally the worst in the league in allowing pressures, and collapsed pocket, affecting his throwing timing, and need to move out of harms way. This affects decision making and view of the field. His receiver core outside of DJ and Kmet, were high ball droppers, ran into each other or didn’t run routes properly. So teams could key on DJ and KMEt, while Justin was too unwilling to throw to other options due to risk of failed plays. Get another WR like Odunze or MHJ, and tight end option, then teams have a harder time contesting throws to any of them, and with an improved line including especially at center, you’ll see a big jump in Justin’s play making ability. The team would have been far worse without Justin, and his mobility and athleticism. Drafting a new QB now would be a waste unless these other issues were corrected, and they don’t have the draft capital to do that without trading down the #1 pick. No new rookie QB could develop under such circumstances any better than Justin has the past 3 years. They need at least 3 more 2nd round picks, if not another 1st round to fill the holes with quality players. Trading back #1 spot gives them 3 more picks, at least. Trading back #9 gives them 2 more picks. This year is much harder for poles and team in the draft. Just forgetting about that shiney new toy QB would give them many more options versus other teams. This generational QB thing is really a distraction, and they should value the draft capital more that accelerates the rebuild of the entire team. They need to forget about bears Qb history and not let it cloud their thinking about Justin. He is their elite QB. Unfortunately poor GMs and coaching led to the disaster that Poles inherited. He needs to stay on his re -build path. Both team wise and organizationally. I don’t think poles, flus, and warren would have spoken out publicly and as strongly as much as they did on Justin’s behalf, if they didn’t believe he was their QB#1. They didn’t need to “sell” him to get other teams interested. Other players around the league, and former Pros have spoken very positively about keeping Justin. They know he’s the guy. Surround him with a better team, as he has demonstrated progress where they needed him to, despite their shortcomings in key areas.

You are stoned. Do you realize, Justin Fields is tied with Tony Banks, with the highest fumble-rate in the history of the NFL for QBs? The media lies and masks his stats. His 3rd down conversion rate is abysmal. His Completion % is under 60, which is below NFL Standards. His 4th quarter stats are the worst in NFL history. He holds the Ball too long, and doesn't learn the systems well, and reads defenses poorly.

Where he wants to go when you decide to draft a qb will be a major factor and him growing up here as a falcons fan will likely have a major role in the matter though
