N population is just 5 lakh ...bharatpur 450 sq km n population is just 3 lakh hahaha...If you include just 300 sq km in butwal urban area population will be more than 8 lakh... If you live in Chandragiri, budanilkantha etc you call it Kathmandu bcz it's ktm urban City ... But budhanilkantha , Chandragiri municipality are not included in ktm ... So practically the biggest city in nepal is ktm valley urban City then 2nd butwal urban City then dharan ithari section ... We are not talking about the municipality we are talking about real cities ....urban cities ..cities with most migration ....

According to 2021 census among the top 10 largest cities , itahari has beaten ktm pokhara and bharatpur to become the fastest growing city of nepal interms of population growth which is 3.25 percent and this city is just 25years old and for info butwal is 60plus years old city and i saw someone saying butwal bhairahawa is the fastest growing urban area really that's what you got even the creator of this video has commented that itahari dharan biratnagar urban area is the biggest and fastest growing urban area . Itahari has today attracted big corporations and private investments a lot more than butwal pokhara and chitwan itahari .
Sir officially as per the book big cities are ktm valley pokhara then bharatput but practically thats not right ...1st is oviosuly ktm valley then butwal urban city the dharan ithari biratnagar section .... as per the last cenus data rupandehi has 2nd biggest migration after ktm valley. in butwal area if you just include 300 sq km then population would be approx 7-8 lakh. there are continuous cities here like butwal, tilottama, sainamaina, devdaha ....these are nebhiour cities like chandragiri, kathmandu, budanilkantha etc .... you gonna say ithari dharan and biratnagar are also nebhiour cities .... but dharan , ithari, biratnagar has 20 -20 km of distance ....there is a big jungle between dharan and ithari ....biratnagar comes in different district ...if you mix all dharan , ithari and biratnagar, area would be more than 600 sq km ....but in butwal within a 300 to 400 sq km 8 lkah population ......

Good thing is that both cities are developing very fast they will be completely different after 10 years Butwal is finance and industrial hub and Pokhara is tourist hub I would love to see both cities doing great in their sector. Butwal is Planned city with proper facility I think it will grow fast after it's 2nd industrial zone get established and Butwal's main focus should be Education and health which can compete with KTM.

Pokhara was better but now bharatpur is more better. When i came bharatpur at2058bs from pokhara, there was no comparison. But now scenario has changed. Bharatpur has done rapid progress.
