I used rotor to grind it softly, 300 grit or 200 grit. Rotor that shine your car. It will blend really well with the board
never had any peeling issues, you have to hold the blade in a 30-45 degree angle so it will only cut a thin top layer and keeps the sticky part on the board. basically you cut like a normal grip and do a 2nd cut but deeper. try it next time.
Ah nice, thanks for the advice! Will certainly try that next time...must say skating it for a while, I have cut in much deeper and seems to be holding up much better!
@@BrianCockcroft Thanks for the review! Yes, the angle of your blade is really important. We usually do a quick first cut like you did, then angle the blade and retrim like a normal cut again. This does two things: insets the grip and creates a taper along the edge. Hope this helps
