No. Children should learn that if they want special praise, then they need to do something to earn it. A C won’t get praise, a B might depending on circumstances, an A probably will. I don’t know what your talking about with “you know how they’ll end up” because we don’t know. People make their choices, yes it’s good, dare I say important, to give them incentive while growing up but ultimately they choose who they’ll be. Kids deserve praise if they’re truly making their best effort. If they’re half-assing things and doing great, cool. If they genuinely made their best effort then yeah that’s deserving of something.

Barbara is amazing. I just spent a week with her, and At 71 yrs she can cover more topics and health issues than any DR I have ever met in person. She is a wealth of knowledge, and anyone in her presence leaves with the tools for a healthier future.
