Welcome. I upload several types of videos:
1) Videos covering consoles. That includes going over their flaws, history, comparing them, or all of the above.
2) Gameplay videos, often in a Let's play format.
3) Videos covering the late 2000s or early 2010s TH-cam, mostly around the specific few niches I am interested in.
4) Hardware and software from the same period (in relation to TH-cam).
5) Game reviews, most often as first impressions of rarer titles.
6) Videos covering games, or their mechanics.
7) Some miscellaneous videos.
If you’re interested in some, but not all of these, you can hit the personalized bell, which only recommends you the content you want to watch. If you want to see all of them, you can select “all”.
As this channel is entirely a hobby, my upload schedule is inconsistent, and will stay that way for the foreseeable future. Videos are uploaded as they’re ready.
Video quality targets an optimal and pleasant experience, though is game dependent.

Grand Theft Auto Online - Agents of Sabotage - The Fine Art File.
GTA V (or Online, if you'd prefer), has gotten a new update, which lets us perform missions which sabotage the FIB.
In this video, I'll be going through The Fine Art File, a mission where we have to break into a rich guy's penthouse to steal a piece of stolen art - a tiki statue.
Doesn't sound too hard.

Dead Space #10 - A car crash. In space.
มุมมอง 1114 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

gee, who would've thought that dual 32 bit doesn't actually make 64bit? p.s. i think i know you from a certain fashion youtuber...
I appreciate the spirit of this video, I would have loved to see Sega be more of a competitor post Mega-Drive. Unfortunately it just couldn’t happen. Just your memory upgrades alone would almost double the price. Memory was VERY VERY VERY expensive back then. Especially on-die high speed memory. And even though memory prices dropped significantly mid-decade, they had to design it according to the market as it existed in the early 90s. If they’d waited 1 or 2 years it could have been like you suggest, but of course by then it would be too late. Also something to remember: in the 90s Sony was THE TOP brand when it came to media technology. Everything they touched was gold. When they announced they were doing a console, it was panic time for the others. And when it was announced as 25% CHEAPER… Sega died that day.
People forget how horrid the PS loading times were. After playing a friend's PS I made up my mind to get the N64 and never regretted it. Also Americans were easily fooled by PS cut scenes in advertising, then you'd get the game and gameplay was weak, but it fooled millions.
Are you sure their discs weren't smudged up? The loading times are (most of the time) under 10 seconds per load. Also, I'm not sure anyone, including Americans was convinced that the FMV cutscenes were "real gameplay". That and over 20 of the 33 million N64 sales happened in the US.
How did you know sega didnt provide proper sdk? this is a hearsay.

If the Saturn was a success, non of this ‘fix’ topic would even matter I wonder if there would be videos of ‘fixing’ the ps1 if it had failed against the Saturn.
Way too much swearing for a "Kid's walk through" video...
it feels like im watching a slideshow 😭
the question "which is the best" is stupid, we should rather ask; which is the best in relation to what the gamer is looking for.
Yeah no, cybermorph and star fox are not the same game. Sorry, yes SF has better presentation but Cybermorph is in a different league. I'm done watching.
Having a proper development kit and supporting third parties to make games for it was what was needed.
It was not broken, the price was.
Always a major factor in the equation

seemed like Nintendo was too worried about keeping everything secret & in-house. meanwhile Sony's like 'screw that, hack our hardware!' & sending out devkits that could run on a PC to everyone... and it created healthy competition among the 3rd party publishers.. Psygnosis, Square, Namco, Capcom, Konami, etc were all trying to outdo each other & it was a great time to be a gamer.
It really comes down to 4 things: 1. Don't launch the Sega 32X. 2. Make the Saturn easier to develop 3D games, and make it on more affordable hardware (1x CPU with better GPU) 3. Launch the 3D controller simultaneously with the system and make all your first party 3D games fully compatible with it 4. Don't let your American division be run by a guy who's anti-JRPG Those four things alone would have easily doubled, if not tripled the sales of the Saturn. Optional: Design the Saturn's cartridge slot with the extra ability to load Genesis games, and by extension, make the Saturn backwards compatible with Sega CD, as well.
0:14 what is this game?
It's Hot Wheels Ultimate Racing on the PSP
There is no way in hell you were there when turok dropped. It was the most revolutionary shooter at the time first true 3-D shooter. Only the first couple of levels are the same. There’s many different type of levels in turok and the fog added to the atmosphere of the jungle
Quake 2?
@@sebastiankulche quake two came out after turok and only on PC and in actuality was nowhere near the level of Turok just look at the animations in Torac. There was nothing like it not even goldeneye had those animations and it was not as linear and more open.
Quake 1 was a polygonal 3D shooter, and it came out in 1996. Technically some mech games came earlier, geograph seal was the first with actual platforming. Granted, I couldn't figure out the train level in GE, but that game has far better animations than turok does. Also while the fog could've been atmospheric, it was far too close and limiting to actually feel right. If you moved slower, like in alien resurrection, or if the game was survival horror in general, like silent hill, it'd be ok. But turok just isn't the right type of game for fog like that.
@@baa848 It was like just some months of difference and is not like Turok was better in every graphical aspect than Quake 2. Quake 2 also came out on consoles. In terms of animation frankly there is nothing superior to Crash in the entire generation.
@ crash??
Eh, upscaled PS1 games always look better than upscaled n64 games... PS1 DID have MUCh better texture quality but was usually riddled with graphical glitches on actual hardware- didn't look this good. Also I totally disagree with a lot of your takes - PS1 was better overall but you're definitely super biased if you think every PS1 game beats every n64 game that is comparable lol. N64 games often times had way more advanced physics is another non-graphical thing to note. I still agree, though, PS1 def aged better overall though. In the case of FPSs, for example, if you compare The World is Not Enough 64 with the version on the PS1, the 64 version is way more impressive in every way except texture quality and sound (but the latter not by a lot). There are other n64 games you could have picked as well for this comparison.
I didn't upscale anything in the video - it's just that the video is far sharper, kinda like how it would look if you were using an HD CRT & SCART - something I did have as a kid.
God the fog was so unnecessarily close in the first Turok lol.
Once U "GO" F ZERO X, U *NEVER* Return Dude
You are deranged if you think these games have something in common besides the 1st person view.
Jumping Flash 2 is crap too many colors and such, from the 10 second intro, glad I never played it, Turok now, I played the tar out of it. I got that and Super Mario 64 release xmas, Turok was played the most till my mom seen it was Rated M and saw me gib enemies.
Turn down the saturation of your screen, that'll fix it.
@Kurriochi uh, what are you on about, i garnered all this from your youtube video here, ive not played, i stated that in the post above. I have no saturation issues on any of my displays, what i do have is confusion.

People be like "5th gen is NOT overlooked" and then start yapping about Nintendo 64 exclusively.
I feel like you’re mad you didn’t get an N64 for Christmas 🎄
-It doesn't matter. This reviewer sounds kind of like a odd PC -gamer from late nineties who refused to purchase Voodoo. Coz he already saw all the pixels on Software -mode & Duke Nukem 3D did not utize 3DFX. Funnily enough, he plays on emulators so he got 60fps on PSone Forsaken, but framerate drops on much smoother N64 -version of Forsaken.
Compare Spyro the dragon vs banjo kazooie
Go back to McDonald's bro. Comparison is not your thing.
The fanboy flaming in this chat is hilarious 🍿 Aside from that, i enjoyed the video, well done.
Why do I have a sneaking suspicion that aside from the games you praised, you only sunk about five minutes into each game to capture footage and then judged the product as a whole just from that. If that isn't true, you really should do a better job with your footage. I think every single clip used in this video is from the beginning of the first stage of their respective games, which doesn't give a good impression of the game as a whole (and doesn't lend me any confidence that you've actually played these games long enough to give a proper review). Also, Jumping Flash against Turok? MDK against Armorines? Armorines even had a PS1 port!
you did not mention that duke nukem has split screen co-op campaign on n64?
Games should always be judge about its singleplayer.
@@sebastiankulche only reason you rebuy it on n64 is the co-op and its a unique feature
Only in terms of graphics may the PS1 be better at FPS games.
It's not. Emulation just makes them look better than what was actually released back in the day.
@@M1XARTNot really. Other than resolution, and the display offer by a CRT, the games technically looks the same. Emulators cant magically remaster a game.
@sebastiankulche I mean, some stuff is gained and lost depending on how it's done. Some games, like Crash, were designed with crappy CRTs in mind. Crash was gonna be red, but they went with orange once they saw that CRTs bled a LOT. Most artists in the 90s used a mixture of CRTs and LCDs, but the biggest jump today is the size difference. Back in the day, TVs were smaller. A sexy 21" Trinitron was far smaller than a modern TV and with monitors (mostly 23-32"), you sit far closer to them so your experience is different. They're also quite a bit sharper than what most people played on. I get some people had plasmas and LCDs in the 90s but you either had to be a turbo enthusiast or you had a laptop with a passive matrix that made your eyes feel like they were lagging. But yeah as long as you're comparing them on the same screen, A 21" Trinitron and a modern 40" Bravia might make look Mario and Crash appear a bit different, but as long as you're comparing both games on the same display it's fine.
@@Kurriochi There are some filters to replicate CRTs output but most i tried dont really convince me, unless Duckstation is poor at filters. I also think filters cant magically make it accurate, since CRTs also upscale the low resolution, which LCDs cant do as easily.
@sebastiankulche I can't say I've been satisfied by any "CRT" filter. I had an HD CRT growing up, so the 240p stuff didn't have scanlines. It looked pretty close to what you'd get on an LCD with bilinear filtering, tbh.
Barely any coverage of Perfect Dark, how far into the games did you actually get?and no mention of the combat simulator in Perfect Dark is a crime
also Jumping Flash 2 is better than Turok? Really? And saying that Jumping Flash has big levels? omg, each level of Jumping Flash can be beaten in 3-5 minutes, they are really small. Did he play all these games he covers? Turok is a great action adventure, something like Metroid Prime, with really big levels and great exploration. Yes, theres a fog in the game, but its ok, its more than playable even with the fog
@RunplaysinHD yeh Turok 2 was one of my favourite games, had some huge levels and epic weapons and the way enemies broke apart as you cut in to them was crazy for the time like be heading the raptors with your arm blade and blowing holes in the chests of some enemies he def doesn't finish these games, at this point I'd trust AI to give better reviews and I can't stand AI content.
I'm confused about the low fps on duke nukem. Mine always ran well, but only PAL versions were avail in Australia back then... Could it be an issue with NTSC version?
I live how you say you love Doom 64 even though you say the PC version is soo much better and Powerslave on PS1 has better textures, better map geometry with sloping terrain and a proper story 😊
I prefer the vibes of doom 64 more. It's like doom 3 before doom 3.
Medal of Honor vs Golden Eye.. and it was too close to call??? Golden Eye was the game to own when it came out and for the next two years. I went through about 12 controllers from wear and tear playing with my friends. Everyone at school talked about Golden Eye. Medal of Honor became a bigger franchise when PS2 came out. Medal of Honor sold 3.7million copies (very successful!) on PS1 which had much larger install base than N64. Golden Eye sold 8 million copies.
PSX BETTER FPS Console!? Wth mAn
I'm sorry to say that your judgements are poorly researched and you fail to mention anything worth of note. While this might just be an opinion piece, at least put in the effort if you are gonna bloat the net with yours. You compare different games on no clear basis, would cite anything that serves as long as your ps bias doesn't show.
Terrible takes. Absolutely terrible takes. PS1 sucked for FPS.
Quake 2. You can now delete your comment
@ you are kinda proving my point. Also the n64 version is the superior console version of quake 2.
Gamecube is great console, but the PS2 is just simply better in variety. It has generes for everyone while the Cube is lacking in certain titles like fighting, fps, sports, racing non futuristic, and rpgs. Owned one back in the day. Great console but it did have droughts and didn't get a lot of the cool titles like Burnout 3 and ports were generally inferior on it.
Quake 2 on n64 is a differnet game and ps1 dualanlong support doesn't help with the controls, it controls worst than the N64 due to layout. Duke on PS1 sucks to play especially due to the fps and the extra episodes are shit to play. N64 Duke is unique and actually runs pretty good. Foresaken 64 is a whole diffierent game compared to the PS1 Foresaken. Perfect Dark is not basically Goldeneye Two, they are slimilar but Perfect Dark does have a different feel and mission structure a lot of times compared to Goldeneye. Also the level design is more focused compared to Goldeneye. Also you can use 1.2 layout to move with the dpad and aim with the stick, which gives you modern controls in emulators and switch online also. Turok controls fine on the n64, just use the left handed layout. Generally N64 fps play and run better than ps1 fps efforts. The Muddy textures don't really mattter on a crt. The quality of the comparisons are rather lacking including actually noting the differences in gameplay and performance. Also, the games used for comparsions are mismatched are not even equivalent at times. The logic use is rather off also. Could've been a better video, person needed to do more research and time to actually play the games.
4:34 I like how you say "I".
The Saturn barely outsold the N64 in Japan, so you're basically saying the Saturn wasn't popular there either lol.
The N64 had some great games but the PS1definitely blows it out of the water.
no it doesn't 😂
