Welcome to the official TH-cam artist channel of Jeff Cascaro. Jeff Cascaro is one of the most successful singers in the international jazz scene. Like no other, he has popularised soul jazz in Germany in recent years. Throughout, however, Cascaro performs his music with a jazzy lightness and skilfully combines the nonchalance of swing with the raw earthiness of the blues. The result is very emotional music with a lot of groove, mixing the finest vocal interludes with improvisations. Cascaro has created an impressive sound aesthetic with his previous studio albums. The recordings Soul of a Singer (2006), Mother and Brother (2008), The Other Man (2012) and Love and Blues in the City (2017) are timeless sonic documents of soul jazz. So it was no surprise that approaching a live album would take time - but now the time has come: PURE - the live recording (2020).
